WS360U Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Ann is extremely knowledgable, but the articles required to read for class are fairly boring and class discussion is too long. Too many long assignments in a short amount of time.

Mussey knows a lot about feminism, + is a good facilitator for discussion. The class readings were free, + some were very interesting. I thought class was far too discussion oriented, but it was still pretty easy. She had a tendency to be a bit disorganized + hand things back late. I wouldn't take her class again, but she was alright.

Ann Mussey is extremely knowledgeable and adds insight that no text book has done for this course. She keeps class activities fun and grades fairly. I often find that the students who dislike her, don't do the work anyway. If you do your best and show her that you are interested in improving your work she will stay after class and help you out anyw

WS370U Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

I took the summer intense course and we ended up reading a chapter a day which was fine but the book was horrible. She was unprepared in her lectures, so we had a lot of book club discussions. You grade yourself based on a portfolio, project, and two reflections. If you're planning to take this, be ready for a lot of group discussions.

WS415 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Ann is a good person, but at least for this class, she is worthless. She obviously doesn't prepare for lectures, resulting in students picking up the slack with small group work, etc. Her syllabus was incomplete throughout the class, so expectations were vague. No help with this massive research paper, and she does NOT answer any emails. Skip her.

Professor Mussey is really nice and understanding. The readings are handouts and are on blackboard. Not tough readings, but the discussions are good. I wouldn't say they were mind blowing, but the diverse perspectives in the class is a great plus!

WS370U Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

I have never been so frustrated in a class ever. I tried very hard to give her the benefit of the doubt, knowing she was new to Blackboard, but we are to the end of quarter and she is still screwing up. Classes and Postings are just discussions of the readings, four papers to write with no feedback so far! Does not respond to emails either.

She never handed our papers back, not even on the last day; I had no idea what to expect for a grade. Before week 7 we had ONE paper back and it was harshly graded. MLA in a History class? Weird. Lots of reading and discussions were shallow, class was boring. She's knowledgeable, and interesting, but never lectures. Class/group discussions only.

The WORST professor I have ever encountered. I don't even know how she got the job. A total waste of time.

She's really nice and a fair grader. Class was kind of boring, but attendance was optional.
