I am taking art 101 with Ms.Jacobs. The class is very easy. Your job is every week do the discussion part just write some sentences. You have 3 exam but both of them you can do twice. Also you have a field trip. Go to the Getty center. After the trip you should write a report just three paragraph. So I recommend take her class. Make you life better

I took this class a couple of semesters ago. It was my first college level class (I was in high school). She is a really nice professor and showed us some interesting slides of art. Basically, all you need to do for an A is to memorize art slides and the creator of them. I found it to be a very easy but enjoyable A.

Nice teacher. However, not enough assignments for the online class and not totally clear. Less than 200 pts in the entire class, so if you miss one, its a lot harder to get an A. However, if you do every assignment, it's almost impossible not to get an A. I missed one quiz (the first one, because it was in the middle of the semester) and got an A-.

I thought this was such a fantastic class! She is so funny and interesting. You do not need to go to all the lectures but if you do she gives out extra credit sometimes. You have to take her!

For Summer 2010. We had 3 museum visits (save your receipt or ticket stub) and 3 open-book, open-notes quizzes. The lecture was just her and the people interested in the subject looking at pictures and talking about them. The other assignments are small and passable. Highly suggested if you just want to past your GE. She had hear-aid problems.

I took her for 102. Got better than 100% and went basically only on test days. Does that mean she's a good teacher? eh, it means I wanted to SAY that.hahaha! but she is genuinely a caring woman, she DOES want everyone to get the feeling of what it IS to appreciate art;and it's not her fault that talking about pictures can get boring.Fun to learn!

I got an 100% in the class PLUS extra credit lol She was Such a nice teacher. i was texting my friends the whole time bcuz i kinda got bored, but she was SO helpful & really wanted every1 to get an A! Take pics of the artwork and its description thats in the book, with ur camera phone and use it on the test HAHA! :) Easy A

Her class may be boring at times, but because it's ARTS! I actually liked her. Her tests are easy. 6 slides, drop the lowest scored slide. 5 T/F 5 matching type. Just take notes of what she mentions a lot in her lectures, and know their chronology, civilization, style, and function. There's no need to read each chapter completely. Recommendd

This is a wonderful class. The students who don't like her are the ones that don't give a damn about anything. Jacobs is really nice and is a great teacher. The tests are pretty easy.

absolutely awful. very poor voice projection. undedicated to her students' questions, and unmotivated. class excruciatingly boring and unentretaining. do not recommend her.

Jacobs is strange but her tests are like kindergarten. It's such an easy class but it seems like a lot of material. You only have to show up the day that she tells you what'll be on the test and the actual test day itself. I got an A with zero effort and over 100% on every test.

she is very nice and her class is a piece of cake but warning....she will stressed you out before her first quiz because she can't teach for anything..she's an airhead and you will think you are gonna fail her class because you dont know what she is talking about but when you have a quiz it is so easy...easy A but boring class
