Great class!! Even if you don't think it will be interesting Dr. Abaidoo will change your mind. He is a fantastic professor. The subject matter is current and very relevant to our future. Great option for a related study if you aren't required to take it!

Wonderful instructor and person. He is a fair grader and it's clear he wants his students to learn. It's important to put aside time to focus on the writing assignments. I would take this instructor again.

All papers and a presentation which can be with a group. He's a very fair and respectful teacher. Yes, he has an accent but once you get past that you'll see that he has some very insightful and intelligent things to say. You have to be very independent in this class and you can get so much out of it if you're willing.

Horible teacher.. hes off the walls with his topics and he is boring. Attendance is mandatory and he gives some extra credit. He gives the students that talk a lot better grades which is not face. Guess you have to kiss his azz. I got an B didnt learn anything in this stupid class.Write tons of papers no test and he grades hard. Easy B I guess =)

He talks so much for the whole entire class period. Imagine listening to annoying voice for 3 hours. Overall, all you do is write tons of papers and participate in class and attendance is mandatory. He doesnt grade anything the whole entire term until its time to post grades on vista.. thats misleading I got an B and dont understand why smh!!

Pretty much an all paper class. Book needed to do chapter review papers and for the presentation necessary. Final paper takes the place of a final exam but you can choose the topic so it wasn't bad at all. Attendance counts but you can miss up to 3 days and some in-class assignments done are important because they are graded.

Great Prof!!!! Very Knowledgeable you do chapters there are nine of them and a paper, do come to class everyday because he has class participation assignments and they are graded!!! Also your attendance is ur grade 5% and that can make or break you! I reccomend!

Attendance is very important, he doesn't grade very hard, but must keep up with work. No Test!!!! 1 paper 6-8 pages. 9 different chapter reviews, give tons of time for you to complete them and let you know a week before he collect them. Only collects 3 at a time. Will collect them all at the end of the semester.

Dr. Abaidoo is very nice but hard to understand. Must pay very close attention in class and take good notes. Lectures were boring at times. Your grade is largely based on a research paper and the final exam. If you are a person who has a hard time staying focused in class then you may want to consider taking the alternative class instead.

I had him for Technology. He is very hard to understand, and this was a problem for me. Very good teacher, nice man, but this is a hard class. I would try to take the alternative class instead.

I love Dr. Abaidoo!!! He is a wonderful teacher, however, I agree that he is very hard to understand. He is an excellent teacher and will go out of his way to help his students. Also, he is very non-bias in his lecutures, which is rare in the Sociology dept.

we had three tests worth 10% each, a final worth 40%, and a paper worth 30%. he is VERY hard to understand, which made this class hard!!! If you have trouble understanding someone with an accent then DO NOT take this class. He is very helpful and friendly and responds quickly on email. This is probably the best way to talk to someone like him.

Man, he was though and the class had a lot of work, but I really came away with a lot of knowledge.
