This professor has a heart of gold. Yes she makes you purchase a lot of books but they are very interesting and help in the coursework. The professor cares about her students and is very lenient with late papers as she states she knows that we have other responsibilities! She is great!

She really prepares you for the MPAQ Exam by telling you what is expecting on the exam. She does talk a herself a lot but she can be helpful. Overall the course is challenging and a paper is due each week like most 700 classes. She grades the papers quickly to give feedback.

PMT711 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

I took this professor for an online course. She made us purchase $250 worth of books and we didn't use one - NOT ONE! We DID however have to use a book online available on reserve at the library... i thought the purpose of an online course was so that you don't have to go to campus? Overall unresponsive to emails and went MIA for a good 4 weeks.

This is an online class and this professor made us purchase 5 books and the total cost was $227.75. and this is not counting the other 2books she assigned which are not in print anymore so had to make copies from library. So total books needed was 7.I think it's rather ridiculous.Stay away!!!

Prof Col is great for 771. She cuts straight to the chase, pick your paper topic and your off! We only had 4 classes with her the whole semester. After that, we worked on our projects on our own and got help from her as needed. She is very helpful, even invited me over to her condo for dinner and coaching on my topic. Like I said, great prof!

Professor Col did assign a lot of books for this course online but students didnt have to read each book and every page. You were responsible for two major papers, two memos summarizing two chapters from two books assigned and for participating in one online collaborate class project. AWESOME CLASS. Great prep for PAD771 I learned a lot.

Professor Col is one of my fav teachers at John Jay. She is knowledgeable and always there for her students when they seek her. She tends to have students learn independently and work in groups. She isn't the type of teacher that writes on the board. BUT YOU WILL LEARN A LOT IN HER CLASS!

She assigned about 10 books and wants reading responses for these books. She loves to talk about herself more than teaching. Very arrogant. She does not have interest in the class.

OMG! Professor Col is a very nice lady however very negligent. You are basically on your own in her class. She assigned about 10 books and wants reading responses for these books. She assigned a book that is 1000+ pages. Crazy! Summer class (8weeks) already has written over 15 papers. Unless you really want to write and read, don't take her.

Great professor! Brings real life experience into class. Understands that grad classes are more than lecture and encourages discussion! She's a can't miss on Saturday mornings.

I have never met an individual so brazenly into wanton self-promotion in my life. She does more talking about herself than teaching and the teaching she does do, if you can call it that, is disjointed. If you take a class with her, you're on you're own
