Can't say enough good things about this professor. So grateful to have had him as a professor. Definitely one of the best AND most knowledgful. Anybody can read a book; he's actually done the work and done it well.

I have never had a better professor at Albany Law. Both his Evidence and NYP exams are open book, but don't let that fool you. You still need to know the material! While many students prefer Professor Connors for NYP, I learned just as much, if not more, from Professor Hutter.

This professor is excellent, both for this class and in general. He lays every idea/concept out clearly... basically spoon feeds it to you. Pay attention every day, study your notes and if you don't get a good grade, you didn't pay attention. Excellent professor - knows his stuff more then any other professor at ALS. Will take another course

Great professor. Laid out a complicated class with a lot of information in a very clear manner. Open about expectations and what would be on the final. Final was time pressured and not easy, but not impossible either.

This man is perfect for this course. Just pay attention and write down everything he says. Then wait about two weeks when most people have checked out...and continue to pay attention and write everything down. Very helpful outside of class too. Not interested in trying to outsmart you. Test is open-book and open-note, but it's challenging. Study.

Explained difficult concepts very well. Could have had more interaction with students (such as accepting volunteer answers when going over the text's problems)

Hutter is the best professor I've ever had (in any school). He is not socratic and reading is not generally necessary, but you WILL learn and understand the material. Listen to the man and you will do just fine in the class.

You can't find a better professor in Albany law; especially for evidence. He makes it so clear and straightforward. If you can; take it with him.

This guy was great. Take any class with him. Tells you exactly what you need to know.

He is an amazing professor. He knows the topic inside and out, very clear, helps you to learn so much. He is the perfect choice for the Evidence classes.

oh the hutter B. class is boring, nobody does the reading, and somehow almost everybody ends up with a B. Nothing to complain about here.
