The school setting should be one where ideas are shared and possibly debated, not censored, ridiculed ("fascist b----rd") or threatened as this professor clearly demonstrated by his insulting, abusive and intolerant reaction to a students speech on marriage. | ||

Mr. Matteson is simply the BEST speech teacher you could ever take!! Granted he had a lot of things going on this semeter so we didnt use the book much, but his methods are things he would actually use and practice. I know now how to organize/memorize a speech with great efficiency and its easy!! A great lecturer/speaker! TAKE HIS CLASS!! THE BEST! | ||

I have never met such a lazy and unresponsible teacher. It was just a waste of time. He made us to buy the book but we've never used it. | ||

This guy is awesome and very funny! Take this speech class easy A..even if you are scared of public speaking..just show and be interested in what he says even if it has nothing to do with the class(most of the time)..we never used text only 2 speeches and one written all semester..great class :) | ||
