He was a professor then an advisor and a friend. Knew his calling when he was 20. Great speaker, likes what he likes and knows it well. If you didn'thave him - ya missed out!

I guess I expected something else from this class, but the class does require you to study and put your all into the class, which isn't worth it if you really have no interest in archeological findings and what tools were used by the first humans. If it's right up your field of interest take it....if not then don't bother jeopardizing your GPA.

Pretty hard for an introduction class. You must study for all three exams to do well on them and the homework projects take a pretty long time. The TA was awesome, email him any questions. All Dr. Seeman does is read off the powerpoint.

INTROARCH Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

He's a phony. He tries to act like a snob, and maybe he thinks he is better just because he has a Ph.D, but having a degree doesn't mean you are better than anyone. He flaunts, trying to act superior. So, yes. He's a jerk. He talks too much about his life, his interest in wine, and his love of Guinness trying to be funny.

IntroArch Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Quirky sense of humor, some material was interesting, but most lectures were pretty dry. Tests and quizzes were pretty hard, and the one homework assignment was graded really harshly (by the TA). Seemed kinda lazy, and I didn't even open the textbook. He definitely knows what he's talking about, just some communication problems, I think.

Not a bad class, a little boring at times but if you actually try to pay attention it can be pretty interesting. Takes attendance but let's you skip 5 classes before taking points off. Only complaints would be the way he grades...it's terribly confusing and the one homework assignment we got was quite unclear as to what we were supposed to do...

AVOID! Seeman is tough on grading regardless of if your project is good or not. Seriously, this guy has it out for students for some reason.

ANTH001 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Dr. Seeman is quirky but very knowledgeable about his class. He has great stories that help you remember the material. His power points aren't always helpful so you have to pay attention to what he is lecturing. The material can be a little dry but the extra credits and tests are very reasonable as long as you go to class.

Prehistory Ohio Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Dr. Seeman is a nice guy, but it seems as though he has trouble communicating with the class. The lectures were interesting, but it was confusing as to what was necessary for the test. The quizes were crazy we had very little time to look at the material and a fraction of a second to take the quiz. Hopefully he'll take some of the advice we gave

just print the lectures off the net. i skipped a lot and still got an A. However, very unclear on assignments; i had no idea why i got what i did on them and had to ask for clarification from the TA before attempting to do them. nice, but not very helpful
