He is a great teacher! He takes time with you and wants to work with you as much as possible but also finds interesting ways to teach you the subject he wants to present to you. Its all about his students!

I think by learning nothing he/she meant materialistically, which is somewhat true. I have learned a little about the Chicano /native American culture, but it's all from the book. But I have learned so much about life, the value of life, and just the way with things. Rudy is a very, very inspirational teacher who truly teaches with his soul.

Rudy is great. He is really nice. But his class is awful. You learn almost nothing, and his entire class is taught through activities that are obscure and videos. If you are looking for an easy A... You found the right professor. If you are looking for substance... Look somewhere else.

I should say that this class... is... just... A-W-E-S-O-M-E! To whoever needs a subject for Ethnic Studies, you must DEFINITELY get this class! Rudy Ramirez is the best professor! He's very funny, would absolutely make you laugh. And his very kind. He tells us wonderful and meaningful stories that has a lesson inside it. I learned a lot from him

You can tell that he's really passionate about his students and his teaching. I recommend anyone to take his class. He does expect attendance, but trust me it's worth it.

Prof Ramirez is funny, warm, intelligent, talented and positive. Not too much homework, he basically wants you to reflect, think and try to connect with what you're learning. He made everyone feel comfortable, interested and apart everyone. This class will never be the same, and I thank him for that. Definitely attend the Sweat Lodge!

TAKE THIS CLASS! I will truly be sad when this class is over. Prof. Rudy creates a warm environment and immediately sets a positive tone. I have never seen a professor shake everyone's hand the first day of class, yet Prof. Rudy took the time to introduce himself to everyone. Prof. Rudy keeps you extremely entertained. Talented musician as well!

One of the best classes I have ever taken! Professor Ramirez is so inspirational. I did not want to take a chicano studies class, but it ended up being so much more than that. Today was the last day of our class and I am definitely sad that it is over. I never realized how much I enjoyed the class until the end, but it isn't like any other class. I definitely recommend him!

I love proffesor Rudy Ramirez is the best proffesor i ever had. He is so real and he cares about his students.Hes not just a teacher but a mentor who teaches you about the real world. His class was the first class i have ever felt sad leaving because it felt like we were all family.

Prof. Rudy is extremely helpful and always teaches about helping the community. At the end of each class he said quotes about changing the world and appreciate what we have. He believes in people and strives to help the students continue with their education. He is a great musician and plays the guitar Santana's style or better. Great Professor!

Very humorous and musically inclined professor, loves his work and loves to teach. Yes he's an easy A, but you do learn a lot from this class and you leave with inspiration. People who say he's not a good professor are those who care very Less about themselves and their education. And if you're one of those people, don't take his course.

Rudy Ramirez is the best teacher i have ever had in my whole entire life.He's so helpful,dedicated,very funny person and has a great sense of humor.I had to much fun in his class and i learned a lot.End of the semester students left his class with tears in their eyes, they knew that they gonna miss him and his class.And it's easy to get A+
