I think that Dr. Battise is a great teacher. I've heard other students speak negatively of her, but she was fine too me. The unit is very stressful and she is a stickler about appearance and attendance.

She really is a great teacher. She comes off cold at first but if you show respect and do what she requests she will treat you the same way.

She is one that makes you feel like you are illiterate. She never explains assignments. She is very random and never makes you feel like you are accomplishing anything. She will totally destroy your self-esteem.

Dr. Battiste comes off very strict at first. She starts to loosen up. She is not necessarily a hard teacher, but she does have high expectations. As long as you read the chapters and do your work, you should be fine. Your appearance is also very important in her class. I came out with a B.

Her tests are HARD if you don't read the chapters and take good notes. She expects you to figure out how to get assignments done with little guidance. The unit isn't as hard as it seems at first but you're on your own. Don't count on her for office hours. Get on her good side and you'll do okay.

Dr. Battiste is so awesome! She comes across a little strict at first but as the semester unfolds she loosens up some. The UNIT kind of stinks but other than that it is a great class.
