This is the worst professor I ever had in my four years of college! He is unorganized, unhelpful and extremely opinionated! The material can be very confusing and going to class and listening to him lecture just made things worse! STAY AWAY!

really, really passionate about what he teaches. open to others' ideas too. makes the class really interesting. you cant really read in handwriting, but he explains what he writes. although a lot of his lecture seems to come from the top of his mind, if you follow his thoughts you really get something out of it.

One of the most interesting classes I've had. He's very cool and lenient but grades seriously when he does receive your papers. He's alos really into what he teaches. I recommend his class

He is extremely passionate. He wants to hear your thoughts. He is very lenient with tests - six people came in 30 minutes late to a test that was to take 50 minutes. He let them do it at home over the weekend, though it would be graded a bit harder (he is a fair guy). He is young, energetic, and passionate. Completely recommend.

Absolutely terrible. Completely unorganized. He is not lenient at all when it comes to trying to boost your grade. Spoke way too fast and spoke in such unnecessary complex terms. I don't recommend him at all.

I highly recommend this guy, read a few books on the train before class, watching him talk about subjects is a true spectacle, the 3 essays require some effort but worth it to be taught by this guy

I enjoyed this class a lot more than I anticipated. He's a genuinely thoughtful, nice guy and he's passionate about the subject, which is refreshing. He got me interested in Philosophy, and he's so understanding if you need an extension/have any questions. He is a fair (maybe a bit hard) grader. If you pay attention you will get a lot out of it.

Cool dude, definably one of the greatest professors I ever had, wrote only three papers for him, and you can have a good discussion in every class

I took two classes with him and loved it! He's a very cool, flexible guy. Yes, he's disorganized, but it's sort of charming and I don't feel it interferes too much with his teaching. I'm a community organizer, and have seen him at various rallies outside of class- he's really passionate about his beliefs (hard core marxist). Take him!

This "Professor" is disorganized & all over the place. He assigns reading & then reads the book back to you. There are people asleep all over the classroom. His paper assignments are confusing,& if you don't agree with his train of thought, prepare to get a low grade. He lost my 2nd paper, & I have yet to get my grade. No idea what final grade will be.

This class is a lot of reading, but the upside is that there are only 3 exams. The final exam paper has an extra credit part in which you could get a letter grade boost possible B+ to A.The downside to this class is the prof is unorganized, talks very fast, and writes horribly. He's a decent grader, but don't expect an A in the class unless u work

He's hard to follow because he's unorganized and all over the place. Fair grader on the papers. However, I was completely unmotivated to participate in class because he tends to filibuster and cut you off and say "we'll get to that".

Intro to Ethics was ok with him. I'd give him neither a rave nor a pan. Guess he's pretty cool. I practically slept through his entire class, though, so I'm not the best judge.

I really don't get the negative comments. So far this professor is the best thing that's ever happened to me in my college years. He takes your point of view seriously even if it's not that complex or "groundbreaking". He's just so specific and keeps the class awake (except this one girl...who cares) and engaged in a way I had never seen before.

Good professor who is obsessed with the subject and will take students seriously in discussion. Because of this, he may occasionally actually challenge a students stupid statement. Oh well, that is what you get for raising your hand. He is nice about it though, so you probably won't even realize you just got owned. Easy grader.

This guy knows his stuff and I honestly respect that. The material is a little hard to read since its a translation however its manageable. Fair grader 3 essays no test. Only problem is his writing is horrible and hard to read and he writes all over the blackboard. Very smart guy, sometimes funny.

Let's see: he knows the material. However it is very boring and he doesn't do a great job of explaining it either. His notes are incoherent scribbles on the board, it would have been better if simply lectured us on the material. I wouldn't recommend him.
