Carson is on a mission to turn me into a lit scenester! I would recommend him though; he gave me freedom to write fun and creative papers I normally wouldn't in a writing class. He uses great sources and tries to expose students to good stuff like Brahms, Machiavelli, and Vonnegut (who would frown on my use of a semicolon). Go for it!

Excellent sense of both tangibles and intangibles, his mind is like an irrepressible dirigible.

English 112 is not the most exciting subject but Carson always made the class fun! He gives useful feedback on papers and this class was probably the most entertaining class i've had at Umass.

carson cistulli. where do i start? if you have him as a teacher then consider yourself blessed by the schedule gods. his clothes alone are reason to come to class. never mind the fact that he's an awesome teacher. just wait until he wears "the bear" you'll know it when you see it.

By far one of my favorite professors so far. He really made the class fun by giving us extra points for using cool words in our essays (fantabulous, mega fly, the bomb diggity) and by always being able to relate ANYTHING to sports. Such a great guy, personality kind of reminds me of Mo Rocca.

A passion for poetry and an excellent grasp of the English language combined with a sense of humour make this prof a winner.

If you have a chance to take a class with C-Money then do it! He is very funny and entertaining. He loves sports and The OC, so talk about those in class and you'll get an A. This is actually the first class at UMass I think I just might miss.

Old man glasses, a little red backpack stolen from a small child, and a deep commitment to The OC.

Cistulli is the greatest. His class is so much fun. I don't know if this is his plan or not (he's still a grad student) but he should keep teaching, cause i dont know what he's gonna do with his masters in poetry and emoness.
