Probably the best professor that I had at Purdue. If you actually want to learn and do not require your hand to be constantly held you'll get along well. If you want to coast through, good luck.

CIT155 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Good professor, willing to help and is interested in you. Never had a professor ask me about my major and where I grew up. Very personable, but also very tough. Lab assignments every week and quizzes every lecture and lab. You will learn a lot about programming tho.

CIT450 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Extremely good professor. Has written excellent relevant articles and heavily imparts what he has learned from his experience. Emphasizes on topics from a very practical standpoint. With his teaching style, you kind of have to struggle through some things to learn them, but you learn them damn well.

Good knowledge of programming, poor people skills. Seems to put more focus on proving students wrong than teaching them whats right. A little more helpful if you talk to him when others arent around, but still leaves problems unsolved. Luckily the TA in PSO was sharper or I wouldn't have made it out alive.

CIT450 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

One of hardest professors in CIT, but he challenges the students by making them think. So don't expect him to ever tell you the answer when you ask him, but instead ask him thought thru questions, and you'll gain alot more from him classes. I personally learned more in his class then all of previous software development classes combined.

He goes through most things step by step showing you how they work in class. If you're there and taking notes, the projects are easy. Will work with you if you don't understand something. However, he will slip in the occasional 'gotcha'.

Makes students feel like****. Makes you feel worthless when comparing to himself. Tries to make you feel dumb in class or when talking to him personally. Gives no examples, makes me feel like I was back in CS.
