"Amazing lectures" "There for you" "Gives good feedback"

Great Prof, one of my favourites to date. He really engages his classes well through his lectures. Cares about his students, and is very approachable. He is a difficult marker, but if you take notes on his lectures, he sets you up to succeed if you're willing to put in the work And show up to lectures.

ENGL 200 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Amazing professor, lectures were a combination of stimulating class discussions and Olbey briefly explaining context of each book we read. Always available regarding his office hours. Work hard and you can earn a good mark, however be warned he is a tough marker!

Absolutely awful. Repeat what he says in lecture back in your essay and you'll be fine. He loves to hear himself talk.

Professor Olbey is an amazing, insightful and intelligent professor! He marks essays very hard but really cares and pushes you to be your absolute best! There are times where you'll want to quit but never give up! He is pretty clear with expectations, go to class and even if you don't get the grade, you'll learn a lot about the world and life.

Awesome professor. However, you need to really pay attention in class and extend those ideas by talking to him during office hours to really succeed. He appreciates the student-teacher interaction, so be sure to engage in class discussions with ideas and comments that resonates with his own.

English 201 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Professor Olbey is a very straightforward professor. Lectures can seem to drag on but if you keep up with the reading and take notes in class, you will be fine. Essays are marked fairly hard but the final is easy. If you put in any effort at all and obviously don't plagiarize, you will be fine.

ENGL 201 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

A very intelligent and engaging prof, with really interesting material covered in lecture- however, essays were marked very hard, expectations felt a little too high for a first year engl course. However, prof was approachable and gave helpful feedback - but definitely not a GPA booster by any means.
