Patty is one of the most gifted professors at USI. She knows her material inside and out and is always willing to go above and beyond to help her students. People can say she is out there, but that is what makes learning in her class fun. If you want to have one of the best experiences of your college career, take any of her classes.

She knows a lot about her subject matter, but it's simply boring as can be. She is very unclear about what she wants from you. You must read the assignments to pass the tests. Don't be like me and not read. The material is so far out there, you have to either read or have some knowledge of the material.

Really far out there. Overall she is passionate in what she teaches and I got a A in her class. Tests are hard b/c slides and notes do not help so it is mandatory to read the material!

She is very intelligent when it comes to her subject but she does not teach it very well. She is all over the place and her powerpoints are unclear. You have no clue what to study for the test (all online tests). The material is very interesting but I would not recommend taking this class for an easy grade.

This class is harder then what it needs to be. Her tests are unfair. She doesnt prepare her students at ALL for exams! My major is nursing, and if i could recall this class goes nowhere near my profession, so it would be helpful if she helped out her students more! There's also no extra credit, no assignments just 4 tests.

Hilarious. She is obviously a very intelligent woman and really knows about this subject as well as many other types of Art. She seems like the type that would enjoy an intellectual conversation w/ one of her students over a drink... of coffee. Do what's assigned and you'll do just fine.

Why are people down on her? She is REALLY SMART!! REALLY REALLY KNOWS HER STUFF!! The class is a BLAST!!!! WE watched a lot of movies...as long as you can be open minded ...its awesome!! I LOVED THIS CLASS!! I want to change my major after taking this class and this professor!

she was an ok teacher. she switched subjects like crazy i didnt understand her too well.

this class was an easy A. you don't have to read the material or anything. the prof. is awesome, she really knows her stuff and she makes the class interesting. TAKE THIS CLASS

This class was pretty boring. She seemed really into it though, but she didn't tell us what was going to be on the tests and she showed too many pictures instead of notes. Still a nice lady.

Are you people kidding? This class was useless. We looked at her travel slides the whole time and learned nothing. I got an A, yes, but it was a complete waste of time. If you want to waste your time and get an easy A, sure, take the class. If you want to actually learn anything, don't waste your money.

Personally I found that this professor took her class a little too seriously and expected every individual entering this general class to have an intimate knowledge of magic, alchemy, etc. I personally did not care for the fact that she pawned most of her teaching off to group presentations and refused to explain her grading style

Great prof! She's so smart and has so much to teach! If you read and come to class...you'll get an A!
