Bland, Boring instructor. Rarely can answer questions. Cookie cutter opinions. Makes you go to class while she reads directly off of PP slides and does not put them online. Its not important that you learn the material in this class, its more important that she 'teaches' you. put the PPs online and this class is trivial.
PSYCH470
Dr. Cain is the best kind of professor and I cannot speak highly enough of her. An amazing mentor and instructor, Dr. Cain truly takes the time to get to know her students, invests personally in their education, and works hard to help them succeed. She's knowledgeable, approachable, and good humored. Psychobio was a great class but not easy.
Psych 110
Great teacher! I took her over the summer for psych 110 which in the summer I hear can be a very dull class but she kept it interesting especially for a 8:30 in the morning class, I recommend taking class from here.
Psych 470
Dr. Cain is an amazing teacher. She makes even the dullest subjects interesting. Her classes aren't always eays, but you will learn something. If you have a choice, take a class from her, and it will be a class worth taking.

This professor is different than most. She honestly cares about the students, and how well they are doing. Very polite, and more than helpful with any questions.

A great professor for those interested in psychobiology, but she is also great for those who aren't so interested. Take any class from Dr. Cain.
Psy. 202
One of my favorite teachers. Dedicated and willing to help students (in and outside) of class. Very imformative on subject matter. I would recommend taking any class she teaches.

Great teacher. Very energetic, even early in the morning. Obviously loves Psychology, and her fervor rubs off on the students. If possible, take classes with Dr. Cain. She's great.

Made the class fun. Some sections were boring, but she usually got the class to laugh at least once a class period.
PSYCH 110
I loved having class with Mary Cain. She was interesting and entertaining. I didn't miss a single class all semester because I liked it so much. She was also very informative and helpful with learning. The tests weren't terribly difficult. Definitely take classes with Mary Cain if you can.
