Boring but he gives you a lot of absences. He passes out the test questions before the tests so they are very easy. There is also extra credit at the end of the class. Very easy class over all.

i have no idea what his guy is supposed to be teaching. It doesn't even resamble logic. All he talks about is abortion. If you don't agree with him you'll fail. You need to take speed before his class to stay awake. He needs to retire.

He is a horrible teacher. He was so boring. And if you have a problem and try to email him he NEVER responds to any EVER!! if you dont have to take the class dont or take it with someone else that is more interesting and cares for his students enough to answer their emails

PHI101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

I was very bored with this class. I almost never went because you were better off learning from the book itself. He gives you the test questions a couple days before the test so if you look things over it is an easy class to pass.

I didn't understand the meaning of boring until i took this class. I probably fell asleep a good 7-8 times each class. Attendance isn't mandatory, but you'll need the handouts because their on the test. Test is the exact outline/study guide that he gives you so if you just memorize everything you're golden.

Perhaps the most boring class I've ever taken. I stopped going after about a week. Still got an A though. As long as you pop in once in a while and grab the handouts, you'll do fine.Just remember to include stupid minute details about the topic. He loves useless info and examples.

So boring. Didn't even buy the textbook because we never used it in class. Excessive handouts. Explains things in a way that makes subjects harder to understand. Talks forever, no class involvment you sit and listen, that is all.

Prof Goldstein is a pretty easy grader, the tests were all open ended essays in blue books and he was fairly lenient even if you wrote crap. Plus he looks like Uncle Lewis from Christmas Vacation so there's source for amusement.

incredibly boring. 3 tests 2 papers for the whole semester. he doesnt take attendence but you have to go, or have one of your friends go, to get the handouts. the test questions are essay questions that he hands out before the test. most of the questions are on the worksheets and the book.

Professor Goldstein knows a quite a bit about many things and works it into his lectures. The lectures can be a bit dry, but the tests arent impossible and he's pretty lenient about grades in general. He's a pretty nice guy all around.
