He has the best night class. Take food if you want... All notes come directly from the text book. Memorize the terms from each chapter and practice the essay questions. It's simple, almost too easy!

He is really easy, u dont have to come to class at all as long as you read the book and come on test days. He also doesnt take off for absences.

DR.Ruhlman is great. If you come to class everyday, pay attention, take notes, and study an A is very attainable. If you have the choice take his night class. He usualy gives a 15min break and lets out early. His tests were at a High School level and he grades pretty easily. Also gives EC. He is a great guy and has an interesting past.Imade an A

The first day you will be completely overwhelmed, he gives you tons of dates and names but he doesn't require you to know most of them- he just looks for the overall theme. Gives you the exact questions for the tests.

Lectures can be monotonous. He basically reads from the book with added detail about wars (he is a military historian). He isn't as interesting and captivating as Dr. Lee. The class was overall fairly easy. I'm still not sure if he even looks at the essay questions, though, so don't focus all your time on them.

Awesome professor. class is very boring, but if you go he reads the important stuff in the book so you can highlight it and that is what will be on the exam. he gives the essay questions out in class and is more than willing to help. I would take him again

Really boring class. Read the book and get the possible essay questions from him at the end of every chapter and it will be easy.

He is a great guy. All you have to do is read your textbook and you will be fine. He reads straight from the book. No need to go to class.

He goes by the book so all I did was highlight in it. Great guy, really liked his class. Take him.

He reads his lectures straight from the book, so all you have to do is highlight in class. His tests are pretty simple, but you have to study minimally. He's a really nice man and is willing to explain anything. It gets really boring sometimes, but he shows movies pretty often.

please take him! He's the sweetest guy on the planet - but he talks really low, and basically reads to book to you. Attendance is not required or even checked. He's really nice, and willing to help. Go on movie days - those are good.

This guy is the most boring professor i have had. Bring a pillow, and read the book.

way super easy. i NEVER go to class and i get great grades on the tests, you just have to study the book, that's all his tests are on.

If you're gonna take world civ, take this man! VERY CLEAR, EASY TESTS, and VERY HELPFUL! He is just precious & loves to tell jokes too. He reads straight from the book, so if you have to miss class, you really wont be behind. As he said the first day of class, "if the student bends over backwards, i will too in order to help them out." RESPECT HIM!

Good guy. Not a hard class at all but make sure you don't sign up for the night class it gets long.

Professor Rulhman gives lectures straight from the book his tests are based solely on the notes...that are in the book (highlight).... The tests are super easy I got a 100 on one of the tests we had... Just go up to him before class and show him your interested in the lecture...and will definitely benefit you.I got a B.
Hist 105
His lectures can be a bit boring, but they come straight out of the book. Take a highlighter and your book and just follow him. He hits all the high points. Before the test he tells you exactly whats on it. Just go back and reread what you highlighted. P.S. I made my first 100 on a exam in his class
