Great professor! Grades a little hard but gives good feedback. There is a lot of reading required but the topics are very engaging. She's very kind & available. I really enjoyed the class overall.

She is very unclear as to what she wants on each paper. She seems to be nice and cool at first but later throughout the semester she could care less of any excuse you give her. Alot of reading and misses out on class.

The material presented was great but she missed a lot of class. She is a great teacher and loves the subject, becomes engaged with the class. She's fair, assignments easy with group presentations - get use to it all classes expect presentations.

She frequently said she was in over her head and there were times when she would literally not lecture at all ? just have a group present to the class. She talks about books and things from her other classes we haven?t read. Sporadically makes reference to our class readings. Very vague in her assignments. Not the worst, but I can't recommend her.

She is very unclear of what she expects from your written assignments. Recommend you turn in drafts to her before you actually have to turn in your assignment, she will give you pointers on how to get the A for the assignment. The class itself is very interesting and would definitely recommend this Professor.

You learn a lot in this class, but it requires A LOT A LOT OF reading. If you dont keep up with the reading its going to be hard to pass the 3 quizzes she gives out. There is a critical research paper due at the end worth a lot of points. SHe is really cool but if you dont like to read dont take it.

Engaged teacher! However her absences this fall were frequent! Many questions in lecture addressed specifically to her went unanswered. The whole structure of the class was confusing to begin with, 4 teachers teaching 4 different cultures for 1 class. And I am still waiting for a grade to be posted

Very Hard teacher... ALOT of reading...make sure you keep up with all the work. She is a very hard grader and she expects you to keep up with all the reading and essays. She literally thinks her class is the only class people take because there is soo much work to do in her class.

Um if you slack in any way or your not all about reading and discussing most of class, this is not for you. In order to do well you need to stay up to speed and participate a lot. Research paper and Oral presentations on top of everything else.

I really enjoyed her class. She gives minimal work which are weekly questions on readings she assigns. The readings are interesting and enjoyable. There are 2 essays and a final. Participate in class and you'll enjoy it more.

She is very clear in her lectures. Tells people what she expects in the essays. She likes discussions in her classes. People just need to read a lot.
