HE'S A GREAT PROFESSOR. I got an A+ without going to class. I just read all his ppt. No need to show up to class. He's very nice and chill on attendance. Don't worry, be happy.

Enjoyed his lectures! Although he goes on about his life experiences they were really interesting. When he goes on a tangent, he will tell you whether or not it will be on the test. As long as you pay attention & do the questions he gives out you will get an A!!! Just listen, write notes, & study.

"Skip class? You won't pass."

He goes on and on about his life more than he does his lecture. He does mention exactly what powerpoints are on his tests, but that means you go to class every day and you must sit through his stories. Honestly I didn't do well because his stories put me to sleep. His website and powerpoints are formatted completely with words. Get ready to read.

Extra credit is ridiculously hard not even worth doing it. He speaks about himself and then makes you memorize 60+ questions for the test and only puts 20 of them in the exam. the other 30 come from his lectures.

The required material to learn for exams is very clearly stated throughout the course, but it's up to you to prepare accordingly. FOR SURE take advantage of SI. SI gives you routine exposure to questions and lecture material which are all fair game for the exam. Go to the lectures; he literally specifies which powerpoint slides will be on the exam.

You don't have to attend class for the notes he uses power points that are available to you on his website. However, if you go to class it makes his notes more understandable He has 4 tests and the final is not comprehensive. You need the textbook because the reviews you do are out of the textbook which 10 or so of them are on the tests.

He is an awesome professor. You need to attend class and you need to find the textbook review answers. His test are easy if you do the review and attend class. He gives you everything you need to make an A. You just need to be willing to put in the effort. Definitely recommend him. He tells awesome stories from his life that relate to the topic.

Great teacher with tons of knowledge in government. He does like to go off topic at times to talk about his "war stories" but they're pretty interesting. Class attendance isn't mandatory but I suggest you go because his slides are on the test and he throws out a lot of hints. Follow his review and it's a guarantee A.

Millsap's tests are pretty easy IF you go to class everyday. He will tell you exactly what will be on the test and what not to study. If you do well on the first 3 exams then you don't have to take the final. Got an A in his class.

Millsap is nice & wants to help & get you an A & even tells you some Exam q's & a's in lecture but Not Recommended. His lectures lack serious structure & relevance which is why I dreaded attending his class. Exams r purely MCQs but Likely better choice professors for govt. Does give substantial Extra credit but it is Very time consuming. Easy B

Prof Millsap is a good hearted guy, he likes to talk about his life adventures and how the gov't applies to him, unfortunately he sucks at teaching it to us. He is nice and tries to be helpful but he's just not cut out to be a teacher. He hardly EVER gives a direct answer to a question and the lectures are useless, I don't recommend him at all.

Really easy. He's a very interesting individual. I literally just went to every lecture, purchased no book, check out his links, and ended up with an A.

Oh my goodness, this class was the worst thing. His course load is UNBELIEVABLE. He will give you 3 chapter reviews 60 questions each, 5+ online articles, 60+ powerpoint slides and you need to memorize ALL of this for the exams. Ridiculous. Do not take this class. You will regret it.

It's political science so it's an okay class. Millsap talks a lot but he only gives four test plus drops the lowest test grade. I say take the class do the packets take notes during lecture and the test will be a breeze.

Test questions are so specific and its hard to study for. He also makes you read tons of useless links for the exam and its a waste of time. Overall not that great of a teacher. If you have a choice, don't take him

First of all, Millsap has four tests, and he drops the lowest test grade. He has extra credit worth up to 25 points. I just finished this class; workload was tough but what do you expect of a college course, honestly? Not interested in Political Science, but I enjoyed learning my rights as a US citizen in his class. Overall a really decent teacher!

He is REALLY into his work for the gov't and the details of how the gov't works. I'm having to retake this class. His lectures are mostly him talking vaguely about gov't and often he goes off on a tangent, and he covers a slide or two. Test questions are DETAILED and hard. Take if you love political science. If not, find another professor.

Millsap's lectures are dry, but they help you on the tests because he will usually say what to study. But the website he uses is TERRIBLE. He types new announcements every day that you are supposed to read and get reviews from. The announcements are just a wall of black text and hyperlinks, 80% of which aren't important for the class material.

I have an A in his class but I had to work really hard on his tests. He gives you extra credit but its not easy. his 4 tests are mc and he drops the lowest. Millsap isn't bad he just doesn't know how to organize his lessons, and rambles alot! You need to work hard in his class
