"Skip class? You won't pass." "Tests? Not many" "Assignments galore"

She is scatterbrained and makes no sense in her lectures but expects you to know everything about internal auditing. TONS of assigns. She has these long lists of things for you to do every week that are never discussed and she doesn't even read. I would only do the deliverables if you want a life. Also, about 60% of your grade is in last 3 wks

"Assignments galore" "Get ready to read"

I am taking this class as a full-time grad student, and she seems out of touch with the students. If you did all of the reading and required assignments you would be doing upwards of 20 hours of homework that is graded. I have not learned much other than how to do her assignments in the exact format that she provides at the beginning of class.

AC 744 Taken for Credit:Yes Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

As someone who is taking more than one graduate class and working, this professor expects way to much. All of the work is basically busy work. You learn nothing in regards to how to approach an internal audit engagement. As someone who works in internal audit, her approach is either outdated or out of touch with industry practices.

AC766 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

This class is extremely tough to get through because Burnaby is a professor. She assigns a massive amount of busy work for homework each week that she collects, and then never does anything with it except put a "check" on it. Is a disservice to educators, and really is a waste of a class. Do not take this professor if you have any other options.

This class is all busy work that, for the most part, is pointless (but collected and "graded") It's way too much work for graduate students, she's lost touch with how much work is acceptable while you're taking more than one class and/or working. It's time to get a professor with more recent industry experience and realistic expectations of work.

This class is 100% busy work and you learn nothing practical. She assigns an insane amount of work that's literally impossible to complete week after week. She only cares about formatting, and doesn't even spend the time to read the content you put down. Don't take this professor, there are many better ones out there that respect student's time.

Expects and gives 10+ hrs worth of homework a week, plus 3 hrs of class time a week. As a full time working grad student, I couldn't survive doing 4 classes like this one. Way too many instructions and treats us like middle school children. Spend over $400 on a useless membership to internal audit association (just to buy books) plus printing funds

You've been warned, this class is a lot of work. But it is possibly the best, and most applied, management class I've taken at Bentley. She's a great professor. Overall a very rewarding course with one of Bentley's best professor's. Strongly recommended.

There is a lot of homework - be prepared to spend at least 10 hours each week on assignments. If you do your work and follow instructions, you will do very well in this class. There will be high expectations on you as a student but this (and AC744) class are the ones you will learn the most in. Burnaby is the best professor I've ever had anywhere.

Focus most of your attention on graded assignments. She doesn't focus on the assignments she gives you a check for. Doing so will save you many hours. She also doesn't care much about the content of your assignments and gives you a random grade.Your grade only suffers if you do not meet her specifications on the assignments.Classes are VERY BORING.

Class was easy and interesting. The amount of work is ridiculous though. You need at least 10 hours per week outside of class. My group spent practically every Saturday morning working on cases in addition to putting in time for personal assignments.

Absolutely insane amount of work. No respect for your personal time. You'll learn more from the guest speakers. So much work and reading that you have to skip everything that isn't graded. Real disservice to education. Don't take unless you have NO OTHER OPTION. If you have to, make sure you're taking only taking other easy classes at the same time

This professor is a little "crazy", she gives out candy for right answers and can seem a bit over the top at times, but she's interesting and that makes a relatively boring subject easy to sit through. She's knowledgable and fair, all in all a good professor.

Best class I have ever taken. Lots of work (which appears to be busy work), but you learn a ton as well. It opens your eyes to the real world of accounting (more to accounting than public accounting).

Way too much work which is not graded in the beginning of the semester, and over half the course grade is based on projects due within the last two weeks (i.e. WAY TOO MUCH LAST MINUTES STRESS). Cases are convoluted and difficult to read, and need to be updated. Nice lady though, and easy grade if you do the work. Just way too much work.

INSANE and HORRIBLE! She has pages and pages of instructions for just about everything, which requires at least an hour to find, print and get through. The work itself is pointless and is basically just to keep you busy. You have to be a Big4 Partner to be able to conceptual and do what she requires. Class is the most inefficient way to spend time.

Very long boring class but doing the work and talking in class and your fine. You kind of get called on to talk. Mostly read excerpts or give a multiple choice answer (doesnt matter if your right). LOTS OF WORK. Stuff do every class but if you do it its and easy 3.7-4.0

Had her for one week intensive. Lots of work but the week goes by fast. Allocate time to get the work done before the class starts and you'll be all set. Fair grader too.
