ACCT404 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

I just want to let everyone know that if you plan to go into public accounting pay attention in this class! When I took it I thought all the information was useless, and now that I am working for a big accounting firm I realize that it is important stuff that you will use all the time. It also is covered on the CPA exam.

Worst. Teacher. Ever. Has no idea what he is talking about, even though he "supposedly" wrote the book. Cares about your grade as much as an albino cares about getting sunlight. Answers questions in riddles, you are better off asking the janitorial staff. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, unless you enjoy torture.

This class is not hard. If you come to class, pay attention, and study before the tests you can easily make an A or B. Yes, hes really boring, but the class isn't that bad. People who complain about how hard it is are just slackers. This is accounting its not for lazy people. If you think this class is hard you should probably change your major...

ACCT404 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Accounting 404 is probably the most useless class of an accounting major's degree. Tuttle doesnt make it any better. He makes watching grass grow more entertaining. The only thing of value done in this class is the lesson on Quickbooks. Look for another professor if possible.

He can be boring but he is a very nice guy and cares about his students. Don't miss any labs. During lectures, he points out possible test questions. Tests are somewhat difficult. Didn't mind his class.

Really nice guy! He likes people to discuss and make comments, so that is nice! He's not going to baby you so some people are suprised that you do have to complete projects on time and stuff...but he is helpful and reasonable!

He is the hardest professor I've ever had. Will not give you any breaks; only if your lucky or catch him on a good day. Although he wants you to understand the material I felt as if he was at a different level than me and had no idea what he was talking about most of the time. Avoid if possible, for the sake of your grade.

Tuttle assigns way too many projects, then gets frustrated grading them so he gives everyone a 90% because no one "impressed" him; honestly. When he assigns projects, you MUST go to his office 3 or 4 times to get the whole assignment; if you do what is assigned based on class and the syllabus, the best you will do is a B. Avoid Tuttle if you can.

Not very understanding to the plights of non-accounting-inclined students. Refuses to curve no matter how many people miss the same question. Too busy laughing at his own jokes to help or even be understanding. Loosen up your bowtie, Tut, all we want is to move on with this class and be done.

Tuttle is really a nice guy and he wants the students to understand. In class things may go over your head but he is almost too helpful if you go to his office hours (esp for projects)-he gives an exam review with what to study and you can study for them with flashcards (memorization)-projects are the toughest part so pick a good group!

Dr. Tuttle is a very intelligent professor. He expects his students to think for themselves (the students that can't, are the ones that don't like the class). Projects must include "real life" information. If you are willing to learn he is more than willing to help. If you want to be ready for a future career - take Dr. Tuttle.

Dr. Tuttle is one of those professors who is serious about the real world. if you want to persue a career in business he is educated enough to help you apply your classroom knowledge into a much broader perspective. He always offers help to anyone who is hardworking and willing.

Did a horrible job teaching the course. Even though when in the class I believed that it was not important for an accounting major to know the material I now see the importance. However, Dr. Tuttle did not make the class interesting one bit or show how the class actually related to accounting.

I seriously think this man is confused. Does he not realize this is an ACCOUNTING class, NOT an IT class? The information doesn't make sense, neither do the slides, and neither do his explanations. If you value your sanity, take Fergussun!

He sucks!!! He just gives you assignments and expects you to know what to do with no explanation. For example...who really knows how to join queries and tables in Microsoft Access w/out a book on Access for Dummies!!!!
