She's a wonderful professor, but her grading was unfair. I didn't miss a class, read everything thoroughly, and prepared for the (four) quizzes we had. Class out of 100 points, quizzes 25 points a piece. I was 2 points short of an A. Goodbye 4.0 GPA! The class is probably different during the fall or spring (I took it in the summer).

As long as you go to class, ay attention and take notes its not that bad! I think we had 4 papers and 3 quizes. Its 10 points a paper and 20 points a quiz. Just re read all the questions...

I think the only thing I did not like about this teacher is her grading tactics. There is basically no extra credit and the class is out of 100 points all together. If you screw up once, there is no way to fix your grade. Other than that, she was fun to listen to and very educating.

I just took 329 and found the course to be easy but that isn't always a good thing. The class wasn't focused nor did I feel like the mission of the class was met. That said, Capeheart's classes are easy if you go to class, do the work, and show an interest. I don't know how you couldn't get an A.

Take another course if you can, I WARN YOU. Capeheart seems nice, but her grading is horrible. She plays major favortism and will find any reason not to give you an A. If you take her course you will be verrry sorry come grading time!!

WOW where do i begin? first of all i agree with the post on 5/10/06 she like to wear shirts that show her stomach ewwww. Do not take her, i repeat do not take her. Very hard to understand what she is trying to teach.

Not a fair teacher. I think there is something wrong with her psychologically as she would nit pick at my papers all the time. There were other students she also did this to. I guess it demends on whether she liked you or not.

Class is out of 100 points, one mess up and your done. Seems nice but isn't at all. If your .0000001 away from any letter grade....you won't be bumped up. Never ever take her!!!!!!! Save your time and money please.

I have taken a few classes with Dr. Capeheart. She is an amazing teacher. One of the brightest professors at NEIU. Those that say that she is not good is becuase they are lazy. If you do the work and attend classes you would know how good of a professor she is. I strongly recommend her. Just make sure you read her book and study for exams.

She is the worst teacher and the only teacher that teaches the core classes. She is not helpful you will not understand anything that you do in there. She DOESN'T teacher she has the students do it for her.She also used books that are out of print and doesn't care if you have them or not. She is so into going against the government in everything.

I like professor Capeheart, I believe that she is one of the best Justice Studies Professsors on campus. I like Dr. Capeheart becuase she actually makes her student's work for their grade.She also let's you know in class that you must work hard for your grade.

She is the worst teacher I have ever had. She says in class that you can come and talk to her BUT THAT IS A LIE!!!!! she is different outside of the classroom. She is one of those teachers that complains about the money that she makes. This is not YALE, get a life. She is not a good teacher. I would take another teacher but she is the only one.

Ms. Capeheart is ok, but you have to work hard for your grade. ( You Earn It.) Please be on time for her class and ask her questions it will help.

SHE DOES KNOW HER MATERIAL ALTHOUGH I BELIEVE IT IS A LITLE MORE COMPLEX FOR A AVERAGE PERSON I TOOK ONE OF HER CLASSES AND WHEN I TRIED TO FIND SOME ASSISTANCE THERE WAS NO ONE WHO CAN ACTUALLY HELP ME OUT WITH THE MATERIAL MAYBE IT COULD HAVE BEEN THE LANGUAGE BARRIER, I WILL THINK TWICE BEFORE TAKING HER AGAIN MAYBE ILL PASSED NEXT TIME

Great professor, every instructor has their cons. she had too but were insignificant to what she offered as an ideal teacher. she gave instructions in the very beginning of class and in her syllabus as what the course will consist, grading etc etc. She grades exactly to the rules,absolutely no sympathies, biases or favorisms.

not professional at all. Wore shirts that showed her stomach, sat on her desk constently. Told her class that we write like 3rd graders, yet her handwriting sucks you can't even read it.Tells students that they will fail. Something happened to her in her childhood. If the administration cared they would do something about her, but they don't.
