HIST 112 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Lectures are interesting, but there's so much material that it's hard to determine what's important. 3 exams (30ish% each) - 15 MC Q's (30%) and an essay (70%). TA grades essays and expects graduate level work. You can miss up to 10 classes, but phones and laptops are not allowed in class (makes it hard to take notes). Take someone else if you can.

HIST 112 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: B+

Amazing history professor! He is an amazing lecturer and everything in this class is really interesting. If you attend all the lectures and take notes then you are guaranteed a good grade in the class. The only down side is you only have 3 tests grades to make up your entire grade in the class.

Dr. Richardson is an amazing lecturer. He uses a sense of humor that college students can identify with and normally keeps his lectures interesting and to the point. He often lets class go 10ish minutes early. He gives the essay topics to the exams beforehand and does not surprise you at all. If you study and take quality notes you'll do fine.

HIST 112 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: B+

The only bad thing about him is he doesn't give enough opportunities to help your grade because there are only 3 exams, so if you do bad on one, it's hard to bring your grade back up. Attendance is definitely mandatory because the essays for the exam are straight from class lecture notes. He's not a mean guy though, just kind of a boring class

HIST 112 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

There was a seating chart class of 150 people. His lectures are boring and he doesn't like to use technology, he has key terms to copy down at the beginning of every class and we watched a few movies. We had 3 exams in the class and no other grades. 15 multiple choice questions which was 30% and an essay which was 70%. No laptops allowed in class.

His voice drones on and on forever, but he tries to make it interesting. He takes attendance, and you don't need the book. As long as you pay attention, you should be fine. But I personally did not enjoy the class at all.

Hist 112 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

He is a great professor that makes history actually fun. You have to attend class, you are only allowed to miss 3 classes. His tests are one essay but he gives you the question in the previous class. He gives you readings from the book and says you need them for the test, but in reality if you pay attention in class you will not need it.

Take good notes in class as the exams come directly from your notes. The exams are mostly essay but he prepares you for them in class. As exams come from notes attendance is pretty important. He also gives great extra credit opportunities if needed. I really enjoyed this class.

Lectures can get boring, but he helps his students out. Give you a head up on what on the test, and his feedback is helpful. Content isn't too bad just go to class and take notes

very interested in what he teaches and a thoughtful grader whose comments are very helpful. He is very concerned about what his students get out of the class. a great TA!
