The TA was a brutal grader and not helpful when trying to figure out where you went wrong on a problem. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out problems on my own due to the unfocused instruction. He did very few examples and can be difficult to understand. He also has a bad habit of talking down to students. I did not enjoy this class.

Worst ever professor I have experienced. He does not care what you can learn from the class. I am not sure if knows the materials well. He only talks about thing which is useful to him not to the students.

Great person, very very very difficult to understand. Go to the TA's office hours for homework help. The class is incredibly difficult. Although not impossible, it will take LOTS of work. Do not take until you've covered Calc 3.

Cares very much about his students. The material for the class was somewhat difficult but the way the quizzes were given (open book and open slide show notes) made the class easy to perform well in. Also lowest 2 quizzes and 1 homework were dropped. TA helps a lot with homework if you go to office hours. Take class if interested in subject.

The lectures are not helpful, so I recommend reading the book. The actual material is easy. Grade is based on: 4 quizzes, 4 hws, 3 exams. Attendance is not mandatory but replaces lowest hw/quiz grade. Quizzes are multiple choice, exams are not. TA's gave review before each test which was a lot like what was on the test.

This guy war very unclear about subject material. I tried to pay attention for the first month of class but eventually just stopped paying attention. Attended classes for the attendance grade.The subject matter is easy if you read the book and teach yourself well. Exmas are relatively tough and had huge standard deviations. This class was a joke.

Hillarious!!!! He is a very good teacher. He knows how to keep the class interested even though it is not intentional. He is pretty clumsy...I really enjoyed his class.

Honors financial engineering- wants most of the students to earn A's so presumably there will be a big curve at the end of the semester. Misses class a lot because of conferences and TA teaches which is confusing sometimes. Awesome subject matter and prof has great enthusiasm for class. Small class.
