The final paper can be frustrating, especially when you have a topic and he wants to cut things out during critique, but this is actually really helpful in writing an effective paper. The IR papers with Eiji do get much easier as long as you're willing to try. Not showing up and not reading the book will get you at best a "C-"

Eiji is a great teacher. Although his lectures can become a little dry, he still tries to make classes engaging. You get more out of the class if you really pay attention.

Eiji - smart. cool. speaks English well. Only thing that threw me off was when he claimed he supported students voicing their own political opinions, but constantly interjected his own political views anytime a student tries to speak up. Gets so annoying at times.

Very good teacher. He can speak good english, but has a bit of an accent that understandable. He definitely likes class discussions and is very intelligent with very little bias. The coursework is also easy as long as you read the material. I would recommend him, he's good.

This class was simple. Takes attendance every period. You need the books for the quizzes that come up about every 2 weeks. Tests are easy, half of the questions come right from the quizzes. He can be really funny, but his lectures will put you to sleep. I didn't mind though, I just did other homework or relaxed.

Notes frequently fail to make sense. His English is very good, but his accent can be hard to understand at times. Often what he was talking about had nothing to do with the notes on the slide show, which was confusing. Questions asked were not answered clearly. In the future, I will be avoiding this professor's classes.

He needs to learn how to speak English clearly as he is VERY hard to understand. Other than that, not too bad.

Eiji is my favorite professor at MSU. He is very smart and an incredible teacher. His class isn't hard at all if you want to get a good grade. He is very helpful and wants his students to get a good grade. What I love about him is his fashion sense. Let me just say this man can dress and I loved coming to class to see what clothes he would wear.Lol
