ME322
The key thing in the class is to do the homework. If you do you will pass. For the exams re-do the homework question that seem tough and try to get old finals. He does curve. And for the final project work on your own. He will give you a -100 if he catches you copying.

Coursework is not difficult but extremely time consuming. Do all homework as he collects them randomly. Present as many homeworks as you can (it boosts your grade). Projects are difficult and does not explain how to use MATLAB. Tests average are relatively low but he there is a huge curve. If you put in the work, you will get a good grade.

One of the toughest class in the ME curriculum. So many methods and iterations. After every exam, i felt very exhausted, my fingers were numb and my calculator ran out of battery. He hands out way too many hws and programing assignments. I had the TA for the lab and for every lab session we had quiz. just prepare to do lot of work.

Whatever you heard about Prof. Ganatos is probably true; a lot of Homework, Hard test, and a huge curve on the grade. The key to getting a good grade is to do all the homework and get a hold of previous exams. Study the previous exams inside and out and your exam will be easy. 3 exam questions are similar to previous exams and a fourth from the

DO THE HOMEWORK. You don't want to cram anything in that class. Leave at least 4 hours a week for homework, and another 2-3 for the weekly project assignment. He is a nice guy, especially if you go to him during office hours.

This class is no joke. Be prepare to put in slot of hours just to at least get a C. He I'd tough but you will learn something from the class.

I learned a lot in me322. Keep up with the homework assignments and don't be discouraged when it comes to low exam marks. Just do the best you can! He is sometimes a difficult person to speak with unless you ask clear and direct questions but don't get discouraged because he does care about the progress of his students.

He is probably the most helpful person in the department. He is very knowledgable in truly every aspect of engineering (teaches numerical methods, orbital mechanics, differential equations and thermodynamics) and his door is pretty much always open to everyone. All his exams are challenging, but doable and he acknowledges effort when he sees it.

Great professor, hard topics and even harder test. At the end he grades fair and I learned more in his class then any other so far.

The class is a tough, all about maths(MATLAB). Exams are crazzzzzzy. I end up with A though. Do the homework regularly and you will be all fine. Pay attention on the project

The exam in this class will be super hard! Less than 3ppl in my class got 60 or higher!. His class is very boring. He will just copy the notes to the board and explain it continuously. You will need to study his notes and do the homeworks to do better in the exams. But he is very helpful when you ask him any ME questions
ME 322
He gives a lot of notes and a lot of homeworks. Even if you do all of the homeworks there will always be something on the exam that you haven't seen before. Beware!

this was truly the hardest class you can ever take, its called differential equations for graduate students, i got a 40 on the midterm, 30 on the final, and guess what, i got a B+, ganatos is the best

This guy knows thermodynamics very well. He is the head of the mechanical engineering dept. He is a nice guy, and a very very fair grader. If you are a mechanical engineering major, or interested in thermodynamics this guy is highly recommended. Although, you must study hard.
