She is terrible. I worked on assignment 3 and put in my opinion on the issue. DON'T PUT IN YOUR OPINION IN ANY PAPER UNLESS ITS THE SAME AS HERS. she gave me a 7 out of 20 on the paper and her explanation was the paper was not long enough. Her requirements stated at least 5 pages mine was 7. Worst teacher I ever had.

Not a good professor at all!! Very critical on papers and nothing is ever good enough. Professor would not help when I asked for assistance in the course because I didn't want to fail.

Impossible to get a good grade. Hours of your best work will be put in to get a grade that isn't deserving. Assignments seem explicit yet feedback on grades reveal hidden expectations. Constantly being compared to "the average student" who gets full credit for assignments. Very discouraging as far as I'm concerned. Especially for LL writing class.

Ms Poupart's student advocacy is quite questionable to the negative. My gut reaction says she has much pent-up anger. The syllabus had poor sentence construction, sometimes clarification, poor grammer, missed wording.Exactly what she wants to acheive a good grade is doubtful. Subject matter and textbook choices were unsurpassed.

She was an amazing teacher. Her teaching style in this course inspired me to pursue First Nations Studies as a minor, a direction I probably wouldn't have followed otherwise. I am very thankful that I enrolled in this course and got to work with Professor Poupart.

Really a great teacher - I didn't think she was biased, or at least she didn't grade based on it. She was nice and helpful, especially if you talk in class and pay attention.

Four five page writing assignments, one five page project, and a midterm/final group project that average 20 pages each (If you want an A). That's almost 50 pages of writing for a 3 credit gen ed class. A bit of an unforgiving grader, but definitely has a lot to teach - and teaches well. Avoid if you don't want a ton of work Fun professor otherwise

Very nice lady. Unfortunately, huge chip on her shoulder. Only B I ever received at UWGB. Be prepared to work, and receive a lower grade than you earned.

Although it was a random gen. ed. class I became excited about the material after the initial class. However, after she unprofessionally walked out of class for half of the students not reading for discussion, she denied explanation of a reading assignment that was due two days afterward. She very biased and unfair about her course work.
