| 1/1/10 | hst195 | 3 | 5 | 4 | 3 | good prof. very knowledgeable and helpful inside and outside of the classroom. one of the better ones at uvm | ||||
| 12/10/09 | HIST46 | 2 | 4 | 4 | 4 | Bogac is an authority on the Ottoman Empire. The class may be on Middle East history but is focused highly on the Ottomans. He is full of knowledge. The class is hard and there is a lot to know and understand but it is worth it if you want to really get a feel for Middle East history. | ||||
| 11/24/09 | hst46 | 4 | 5 | 5 | 3 | The semester is not over but so far the class has been awesome. It is an early class (8:30) but Bogac makes it worthwile to come to class | ||||
| 11/20/09 | hst195 | 2 | 5 | 5 | 3 | Great class, great prof. Ergene is very involved in his subject matter and definitely cares about his students. I learned so much about islamic history in this class. Definitely recommend this class. | ||||
| 9/22/09 | hst45 | 2 | 5 | 5 | 3 | 45 is not an easy class. But Prof Ergene was effective. He tends to be demanding of students but I did not mind this. Bigger issue for me was how crowded the class was. 125 or more students? He tried to pace around the class room to establish contact with more students but class size did not allow much involvement in discussions etc. | ||||
