FINC 3700 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Not Mandatory Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: A

Easy but watching paint dry would be more exciting than listening to his lectures. Test questions come straight from sample exams so there's really no point in coming to class. Extra credit project offered for up to 5% on your final grade and raw grades curved at the end of the semester.

I am not even done with this class and I'm giving it a rating. I was very interested going in. That was til about the first week went by. BORING. Everything is online besides the final. And there is a project. But the online material is extremely time consuming!Waste of time taking this class because everything is common sense. But good luck .

This class was not that bad. The raw scores were low, but curves the final grade so much that an A is easily achievable. He also allows a notecard on each test and drops the lowest one. The lectures are boring, but the class is not difficult at all.

I have never written a review on this site, but this teacher made me feel like I had to. Easily one of the worst teachers at Auburn. When 3/4 of the class is making 70 or below on your tests and 1/2 the class has dropped or withdrawn by the midterm, the problem isn't the students, it's you. Avoid AT ALL COSTS

His class wasn't actually that hard. I went to class about 3 or 4 times aside from test days and still made an A. He's a pretty fair grader, and even helps you out a little bit. He might not be the most interesting professor out there but that doesn't mean that the classes he teaches are impossible.

Easily one of the worst classes I have ever taken. His lectures are useless because he complains for 50+ minutes and acts like the information given is obvious. Going to class is pointless because he doesn't even give examples of the formulas he puts on the board. Do yourself a favour and DON'T take this guy.

Pointless to go to class. Vaguely talks about things relating to test. Never puts examples, only formulas, on board and then a bunch of math problems on the tests. His notes are random and might be a page max for each class. Gives bonus for attendance, but rarely. Half test questions from sample exams. Notecard allowed on each test except final.

Worst class I have ever taken at Auburn. All tests and quizzes are online except the final which is in class. He does not offer help if you need it. Somehow the class lectures always turn into how stupid the government is and how America is the worst country to live in. Would not recommend at all.

Worst teacher I've ever had at Auburn. He's incredibly smart therefore he can't teach. He just doesn't understand why you don't know the material already and why it doesn't come as easy to you as it does to him. He talks down to you when and really doesn't answer questions. Avoid Him.

He acts like he's doing you a huge favor by answering any questions you have. He's really condescending. Class is useless because all he does is get on his soapbox and talk about what's wrong with the world instead of teaching. The only good thing is he provides lots of quizzes and practice tests online to help you study.

He is crazy smart, therefore he has no idea how to teach an intro level class. Nothing he went over in class was on the test and the slides are pointless. Also, misreably boring. I had to teach the entire class to myself. Don't be fooled because his other classes are "easy" bc he just changed EVERYTHING Good luck...

The most ridiculous class i've taken at Auburn. He changed the format of class (the tests aren't online), yet he never changed the way he taught (which really is nonexistant) I only passed because I had a study group and taught it all myself. If you have any choice DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! Most frustating experience of your life.

Really nice guy, but painfully boring. Notes, tests and quizzes are ALL on blackboard, so there is no point in going to class. I don't go to class and have made 100s on all tests and quizzes because I use your notes and book while taking them. Easiest class at Auburn. Book is waste of money because most of the material is common sense. Easy, easy A

This class was super boring. I could hardly stand to go. It was poitless. Everything is online except the final. Quizes and Tests are on blackboard. If you want a class that you dont have to go to and can still make ok then this is it. if you wanna learn I dont suggest this.

I think thsi teacher may have changed his class a bit. I took this class bc of what other students said on here, but it was WAY different! The online tests were IMPOSSIBLE. I took them with my book in front of me and still couldnt get good grades. Attendence was pointless, but his tests were VERY VERY VERY difficult.

Take his class!! It's incredibly easy and you don't even have to go to class. Just read the book and do the practice exams. All the exams are online so you can use your notes and you have two chances to take each exam. So easy to get an A in this class!!

Despite the fact that this was an insanely easy class, he is a really bad teacher. Doesn't have any idea what he is talking about and most students never came to class. You'll get better profs at Southern Union.

Ole Sven...Don't waste your time going to class. On the first day he taught about opportunity cost, so why would I walk all the way to Lowder 3 days a week to sleep in his class. Just do the online tests, easiest class you will find at Auburn!

This is about as easy of a class as you will find at AU. I went the first day and the day of the final and made an A. All of his exams are online (other than the final) and each one has practice tests you can take as many times as you want. Three attempts on each quiz. I'd recommend this class if you just want to get out of it with a good grade.
