Anyone who complains about him probably didn't read the material and wasn't prepared for the discussion. If you don't keep up with the reading you will fail his courses. that being said he makes the material very easy to digest and applicable to the real world. Would definitely recommend.

If he decides you're not worthy of a good midterm grade withdraw ASAP and take another prof next semester. He is contemptuous and arrogant and will NOT help you. He will also blow lots of smoke up your ass and try to sell you dance tickets while putting you down simultaneously.
