CHEM1124-5-6 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: A

Not only is Dr. Neth one of the smartest professors at UConn, but he translates that very well to his teaching. The class is challenging and there is online work- that being said if its taking you anywhere close to 18hrs maybe reconsider the major that put you in this class. Its very doable and he is one of the most caring professors. Great class

Chem1124-1125 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Dr. Neth is really helpful and is a good lecturer. Lab is pretty easy if you have a good TA. The hardest part is the online work just because it's extremely time consuming.

CHEM 1124 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

It's a hard class but the worst part is the online work. You are required to complete OWLs and ALEKS each week. These can take anywhere from 3-18 hrs. The power points aren't very helpful and if it wasn't for the extra time spent with my TA, I would have failed. The exams are straightforward and closely resemble the practice exams given to you.
