Although this class at first seemed very interesting, it later turned into a semi feminist class. The topics were dull, the assignments were tedious, the readings were long. She gave 5 page paper assignments and had them due two days later. Very disorganized, but a very nice woman. Very disappointed with this class.

Prof. Barber is very knowledgeable and cares very much about what she teaches. She isn't too hard on students, and disciplines individually and without the embarrassment of being yelled at in class. It isn't hard to get a good grade if you do your work and attend class. A good teacher in my opinion.

She is nice and pretty easygoing. Class was ridiculously easy though. I enjoyed it for the most part because it was so easy, although, I would have liked it to be a little more challenging...

one of the few professors who is easy and still manages to be a good teacher. The class was mostly centered around class discussion. Papers were graded well- they werent easy and there were always criticisms. All in all though a good class.

Students were able to work at their own pace and read poetry to one another. I enjoyed her class. She was also very helpful.

Had her for 2 semesters. She is by far the greatest teacher that ever lived. The most you ever do is a small essay or read a short story. She makes college alot easier on her students. Any work is gone over in class so it is impossible to fall behind. She's also very understanding if you miss class. Stay with this teacher as long as you can.

Her class is absurdly easy. She is also a pretty big pushover. If you can't pull a decent grade in her class there must be something wrong with you. She is very nice but can be boring (I've fallen asleep a few times and its a 12:00 class...)
