He is a great teacher. He is very nice and always helping. He gives a lot of good advices. I enjoy taking his class and would absolutely recommend him.

Dr. Karr is anything but helpful. The only thing he does is rant about non sense unrelated to the class. You are better off just doing everything off the syllabus and turning it all in then following his incoherent and inconstant instructions. This man CAN NOT make up his mind on anything. Just follow the syllabus if you have this HORRIBLE teacher.

This instructor is great. He is very articulate and made this class very interesting. I wanted to take him for 1302 but personal schedule would not permit. If you like to be told directly, pick this instructor.

Dr, Karr is one of the best professor. this is the class where u get rewarded for ur own work. unlike others, Dr. Karr knows ur capability and enjoys reading ur own works. ur unorganized piece of essay has more value than the one u copied from the internet.i thank you Dr. Karr for making me work hard.

Most student at HCC are lazy and think classes are difficult. Dr Karr is brillant very knowledgeable and helpful. It would behove those of you lazy asses to take his class and learn something with the goverment money that is paying foe your schooling. Dr Karr will teach you a lot!

This man is with out a doubt one of the most interesting individuals I have ever came across! If you have the opportunity or should I say have the privelge to take his class...DO IT!! AMAZING HOW SOME PEOPLE CAN BE SO WRONG. FIRSTLY, DR. KARR IS NOT A "NIGGA". HE HAS BRITISH ACCENT AND PERHAPS FROM CARIBEAN. ONCE HE REALIZES YOU ARE SERIOUS, HE DOES ANYTHING TO HELP YOU. he grades really hard on those papers you have to type up.also when you ask him questions, he manages to avoid them or you just can't really understand what he's saying. i should say im a fairly good writer but he grades really hard! he likes sentences written his way even though there are other ways to write the them. he check heavily on grammar

Mr. Karr is a great teacher i took him for English 1301 and i will definitely take him for 1302. He is laid back and a very easy A. I strongly recommend him:)
