Worst Prof I've had in history at U of C. I showed up to all classes, but never took notes because all he does is read the text book. He's so shy and nervous - just not worth going to. DOnt take him if you have the choice,

Oh my goodness, worst class ever. he doesn't use powerpoint and pretty much reads the textbook for you. What a waste of time. He is a really hard marker on exams.

Dr. Colpits may not be the most interesting lecturer but he is passionate about what he teaches and is able to inspire that passion into those who are really willing to learn. He was very helpful in his office hours and went out of his way to help find sources for papers. Overall an excellent prof if you can stand his lectures.

Unorganized and unclear. I wouldn't recommend taking a class with this professor, as it seems he is still new to the whole teaching aspect of his career. I found this prof rather unclear

His tests were very focused on finicky details, and tended to miss the big picture analysis of other profs. lectures were extremely boring, I actually stopped attending class a month in after he spent an entire hour talking about Canada's river network and Canoes. His approach is what turns most people off of history.
