Although Dr. Shoaf is an... eccentric man, he is a very good teacher and he is fair. He gives you chances to make up a test and also gives you free miss days. Very interesting discussion topics as well. Read and actually do the work and you'll get an A. | ||

I would not reccomend entering. Unless you are really interested in this course. He likes to quote the book, which he wrote.Hard tests, will take pts off for improper use of gramar, punct. If youre l8 he'll take off pts. If you read the book b4 enterin you'll b fine. Approach with caution! Requires alot of study time. | ||

Shoaf is a very strange man. You would definitely get a laugh out of his class, but not necessarily an A. Studying is key. Study guides are long, do them in advanced. Also READ! Read all of the chapters BEFORE he goes over them. Biggest mistake: trying to do the study guides a week before tests-You will never finish. Overall Shoaf is a hot tamale! | ||
