good luck getting a good grade in his class. do credit/nc if you starting to do bad after the midterm. hws and quizzes could help a bit but overall, it's not an easy A at all.

ECON100 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Homeworks / tests / lectures are totally unrelated to each other. He presents opinionated statements as fact. The one good thing about this guy is that his voice is like smooth jazz.

You don't need the textbook, he lectures off of powerpoints and I used those to study. Be sure to pay attention in class because he talks about specifics in the lecture that aren't really in the notes that will show up on the homework. The homework is online and a pain, but he drops your lowest scores, which helps out a lot.

Eco345 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Overall, he's a really good professor and probably the best economics professor I had so far. He presents the material in an organized matter and explains everything pretty well. It's very important to do the homework because it puts the material together and really bring up your grade. His exams are a little tricky, but the curve helps a lot.

He basically explains the class off slides. Homework and tests are easy if you're good at math and pay attention.

Technically he uses the textbook because all his slides come from it, but you don't need to buy it all. Simply print out his daily slide shows and use those for your study notes! Just show up to class, listen to him talk (although attendance is required, participation is not) and do good on the exams. Although questions on his exams are a bit tricky, it's okay because their supposed to be and that's why his grading system is different: a C is like an A- or something like that.

the hardest part of this class is staying awake. There is something about his voice that just put you right to sleep...nevertheless if u do manage to stay awake you'll discover he's not a bad professor. His slides are really useful for the test... if you study them you dont even need to read the book. hw are usually pretty easy.

He is an actual professor. Not one of those that spoon feeds you material. He is not a personable guy, although he tries. His class isn't that bad, but you do have to work for your grade. He is very organized but exams are tough- if you don't mind actually learning a thing or two in class he is pretty decent. I feel the other ratings here are harsh

This professor here is one of them, book teachers, always reading straight from the book, never bother to explain himself twice. Just dry and boring, try to do his work, it just didn't work out

I enjoy economics. But with this professor it was a waste of tuition. I was hoping to get more out of this since I wanted to major with economics but this was a fail. He has a dry lecture and rereads what the textbook says instead of explaining it in simpler terms. It makes me wonder why professors teach when they know they are boring the class..

This class is boring but the professor is alright. Relies on his powerpoint and tries to connect econ ideas to everyday world. There's 12 hw, lowest 2 scores dropped, 3 quizzes, 2 exams and the class is curved.

this guy is really strict about keeping to his lectures. if you have a question, he often won't answer it fully or at all. if we didnt get to finish, next class he would always continue the lecture, plus start a new one. class ran late every time. ill give him this: he loves his subject and really wants you to understand the concepts.

Eco 100 can be incredibly enlightening if you can avoid the urge to snooze! You have to pay attention, follow the graphs/logic and you will learn a great deal. A very smart guy who will share all sorts of tidbits that can be applied outside of the classroom. If you snooze you lose. If you can keep yourself awake, take this class, its very rewarding

Despite of what everyone else says I have to say that this was one of my fav classes. The teacher does depend on the slides but that's helpful bc I can always go back to these slides for reference. The test are easy and curved. I never got below A and I didn't study that much. Just go to class and pay attention, he gives a lot of clues for the test

I took him despite reading all the negative reviews (big mistake) and I gotta say everyone was right one the money! Lectures are so BORING! The longest hour and 15 mins of my life! The homework and tests are very hard. Avoid! I don't recommend him at all! Take at your own risk.
