He is the best comp/speech teacher that NIACC offers. The problem is that he spend the first couple of weeks weeding out the students that do not wish to work for their grades. If you want to learn, and are willing to do your best...take his class.

I LOVE STOLTENBERG!! He's a great teacher. but he either likes you or doesn't. Class work is kind of difficult but he's always there for help. He's a great person in and out of the classroom.

Dr. Stoltenberg is the best comm skills prof you can get at NIACC. He may appear to be a tough guy but he is a funny guy once you get to know him. Don't be afraid to ask him for help, that's what he is there for. Dr. S knows what he teaches, so do your work and you'll earn that "A".

A lot of students don't like him, but I thought he was great. He was a challenge, but I have a lot of respect for him and the potential he was trying to make us reach. If you are willing to work hard, ask for help, and NOT be intimidated by him, this is the class for you. He urges success.
