Read the book and do not procrastinate on reading chapters. Two tests that are about 8 chapters each. Two presentations. Some students may be tough critics which will be the main reason your grade will go down. Gives about a 20 point curve on each test. Nice guy, but a little monotonous. Decent.

Prof Steiner is smart & funny. He turns his lectures into stories & adds funny things to his slides so the class isn't as boring as it could be. He's sweet & grades on a big curve. Classes go by fast cuz there are 2-4 group skits each time. I hate group assignments but the skits are fun & easy, depending on how you present. We did both as comedies.

Class act; gentle-mannered; cultured; multiplies grades up by 1.3, so 70 pints and up is an 'A'. Two presentations, one of which is a skit; two term papers; two exams of 100 questions each. One of the best profs at CSULA

If you don't like group projects don't take this class!! Has a huge curve on tests which is good. Read the textbook before exams. I hate group projects so this class was not for me.

I absolutely loved Professor Steiner. Very polite and knowledgeable professor. I feel like it would be hard for anyone to do poorly in the class. The book is a must, as I read each chapter before each exam. He has a huge curve and I received an A on both exams. Group work includes performing skits which was kinda fun.

Professor Steiner is very knowledgeable. Lecture may seem kinda boring though. 2 group projects. 1 is a play, and the other could be a powerpoint, but I think making that a play is easier. It's actually pretty fun. Classmates grade each other on project. Midterm and Final are 100 multiple choice. Each exam is 8 chapters! Pretty hard...

Professor Steiner is a machine. His knowledge of business is very well rounded. I liked his class. Although he talked a lot about history, I welcomed it. The test are a bit difficult. You must literally read the whole textbook. His questions are very specific. Professor Steiner is both a good Professor and a good person.

Very clear and passionate about his field. Loves to teach. You MUST read his textbook or will do poorly on exams. You have to do a play of a topic covered in class. If you follow his guidelines, you will do great. He is a great professor for those who actually want to learn. He loves to share his knowledge. I give him an A+.

Midterm is very difficult. His class is like a drama class. If you are not a good actor to entertain your classmates , you will have a lot of pressure for the performances.

Very knowledgable about his teaching. Make sure you understands what is expected on your presentation, professor is willing to help. Read and take note on each chapter, if you do your reading test should not be hard at all but it is long, 100 question. I would recommend taking him for MGMT 308.

Has 2 group presentations that are very simple. Your classmates grade you so it gives you permission to just have fun with it,i did and got A's on both presentations. Midterm and Final are everything out of book. I recommend going to the books website to download example tests to help study. Use that and read book will guarantee an A or B. Curve!!!

WARNING: You will be graded on your ability to entertain the professor and your classmates! I'm not an actor, and being forced to perform a play was awful. Having the class rate our "performance" is really stressful. Also, he givers no study guide for his tests, and they are extremely difficult. Avoid if you can.

I totally agree with the "history" comment!! AVOID this guy!!! Will not learn anything from him. You can ONLY get a good grade if you learn His book by heart (which he does NOT teach in class). He is also trying to act nice, but indeed he doesn't like or care about students.

Useless, torturous, tough class off of which you will barely learn anything except acting skills perhaps... They should title his class a "history class" not management, don't be surprised if you get detailed questions on the test referring to what happened on a certain date. avoid him by all means possible. He is just there to sell his BOOKS.

Do NOT take him!! He makes you do pointless presentations in class. They are not hard but a total waste of time. Only lectures for 1/4 of the class time, but his exams are 100 Qs from the His book. The book is Super Boring. And tests are very Very specific!! He does not go over this stuff in class!!!! You have to study a lot and on your own.

I know you probably don't have too many other options. but avoid this guy by all means possible. he teaches 1/3 of the class time and fill up the rest with stupid skits and basically grades you off of your acting abilities. Then he expects you to basically memorize almost 400 pages of his book; which he tries his best to sell to the whole class.

Very nice guy. Does LONG lectures but tries to make up for them by adding some dry humor. 2 Skits. If you aren't good in front of people you're going to be nervous all quarter haha. Easy class because of the curve. Don't have to attend, test is ALL book, but like I said CURVED. Overall fun experience for me. Recommended.
