ASTR 151 Taken for Credit:Yes Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Never participated, never did the homework, rarely showed up to class except for the midterm and final, just studied the power points and got a C in the class.

ASTR 151 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Avoid at all costs! She is not only completely boring, but is extremely unhelpful. She never answers any of your questions. In fact, when you do ask a question she looks at you like you're dumb. She admitted in class that she has to curve her test because no one ever gets above a 60%, which means you'll probably pass, but won't learn anything.

ASTR 151 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

It's super boring and impossible to learn through her lectures. She is extremely monotone, repeats things over and says nothing helpful the entire class. Weekly online quizzes that don't even correlate with lectures. It makes no sense to be tested on things we haven't even addressed in class. There is a crazy curve though so you'll probably pass.

Not a helpful teacher at all. Always leaves class early and has the T.A. supervise the class. But I got an A in the class so I'm not complaining too much :)

Phys311 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Very good class and good professor. She took us to Pomona College to use the telescope there to take images of galaxies, then taught us how to prepare the images using professional grade tools. Tests were fair, a few group projects, and fair amount of homework. All relevant to the class.

ASTR151 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Extremely easy tests. Don't need to study much for her class. She speaks in a monotone voice but you can see the passion radiate out of her. lectures are posted online so coming to class is a little pointless except that she issues extra credit for participating in CLICKER activities. Deal with her boring lectures and you'll get an A.

What makes a great class is not the subject, but the professor. That being said, avoid her at all costs. She's horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Enough said.

Easy class. Many lame group assignments, but you have to be there to get credit. She does speak in a monotone voice, so it does get tiresome. There is 1 midterm and 1 final. Easy if you study! If you don't want to take Chemistry like I did, then take this one. But hopefully you will get another professor.

SUPER BORING! She got issues. i.e. she had a real problem with people asking her questions BEFORE class even starts, She won't even listen to your question, she would simply state that she has office hours and blah blah... All I wanted to know when the Scientific paper was Due!?!?! It was NOT even personal question. grrr

Ay 151 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Wow, is this class boring! The professor has a very soothing voice, which makes you very sleepy. Not very helpful. Yeah....she sucks, but overall, the class is very, VERY easy. She teaches mostly everything we learned in like the 5th grade.....So, take her at your own risk!!!
