Great professor. You really learn alot and you might not appreciate it while you are taking the courses only because the material is really hard. He tries to simplify it as much as possible. You need to put alot of efforts in the homeworks and use both the book and the notes to study. Overall, Dr. Sarkar is really helpful.

He goes very fast, but is happy to answer questions about the material. The fact that he follows the (pretty good) textbook is a plus, in that you can always go back to the book if you missed something. Homework exercises tend to be well-chosen, and increase understanding of material. Overall, class requires some of work, but yields good knowledge.

He is horrible! He must hate teaching, because he hates helping his students out. When you ask a question he doesn't answer it, nor does he care if you know it or not. He could care less about his students and their grades. He is also obsessed with minitab! Just don't take him, he aggervates me.

Very bad teacher. He worries to much about using minitab. You have to try to do all hw problems. And to know which formula to use on each test problem. If you do not know how to do the Hw you are in for a long ride because he lacks in helping the class out. he teaches way to fast for a lot of people
