I was so lost for most of the semester but he showed us how to do everything on the computer and on the calculator which helped me pass the class. There is no homework the whole class is based off of the tests. He will give you the option of doing homework for some credit but not a lot. Basically if you just wanna get through stats take this guy

VERY helpful. He goes out of his way to make extra time outside of class and office hours if you need the extra help. Attendance and homework arent mandatory, but if you go and do the work he notices and it can help your grade in the end. I ended the class with a low B, but because I went to class, office hours, and did the h/w, he gave me the A :)

If you struggle with math or need to take statistics, Schonfeld is your guy. Statistics isn't the easiest math corse but he makes it easy to understand and will take time to further explain any concept. he's DA BOMB!!!! great teacher! really nice too.

This is a great professor. I am terrible at math, but did well in this class. Schonfeld wants his students to learn, bottom line. He is helpful, and understanding about people's issues. At least skim the textbook before class (actually try to read it if you can) and do the homework. Tests are open book, open note. Just an overall nice guy.

I took 150A and 150B from him. He is a very nice man who truly wants to help his students succeed. Math is very hard for me, but his calm teaching style set me at ease.

Warren is one of the best teachers ever. He is very approachable, and if you have a question just ask during class! He wants his students to succeed in his class. Open book tests, and conprehensive final. I got a "B" in his class-even thou I suck at math-he made it easy to understand. Take Warren as your teacher-you won't regret it!

An easy A if you attend class and apply yourself. Notes and open book tests and final! Doesn't get any better than Schonfeld. Math doesn't come easy to me and I got an A. This guy is really gentle and helpful.

Real nice guy, wanted his students to succeed in the class. His lectures where a tad boring at times (and I love math). Homework is assigned but not required to be turned in, and he offers extra credit on all the tests. I'd definitely recommend him if you struggle with math

Easy class in the sense that you are allowed to use the book, computer, and notes on all of the tests. Homework is not a requirement but make sure you do them because the questions on the tests are similar to those that you go over in class and on the homework. If you're good in math, you can learn everything by yourself by just reading the book.

Warren is the kindest, most helpful man. Always willing to help: he WANTS you to do well! On the last day he even told us we are welcome to see him for math questions anytime. Open book and notes, homework is not mandatory, but helpful to learn content. Plus He curves the tests!! I would recommend being his student to anyone having trouble with mat

Great teacher. Open book, open notes, and open computer tests! Schonfeld is a very friendly and happy person who loves to help students. He spends a great deal of time on problems so that you understand them fully. The only drawback is that you have to study in order to know which formulas to use on certain problems, but really, that's not bad.

For a 2 hour class, he goes over two pieces of mathmatical information. it is ridiculous how slow this man teaches, but he is good at it. his tests can be hard because he makes them himself. it can be hard to follow him sometimes because he teaches math in an abstract, roundabout way when personally i am a concrete sequential learner.

Good professor for a hard subject (statistics). He gives you every chance to succeed. Assigns homework problems every class; if you hand them in (not required) this will bump up a borderline grade. Doing homework makes exams A LOT easier. Lots of experience as teacher and consultant.

I enjoyed him, and he is a good guy. I personally got a little bored, but that may have been the class. There were a number of things that were unclear, becuase he talked so much about it. I would take him again if I had to, but don't take him if you want a challenge.

He explains things VERY clearly, goes over them a lot, can use all your notes and book on the tests, doesn't require homework. He will go over everything until you get it. He's a really great and nice teacher, I would take him again. Easy to get a good grade!
