Professor Das is an amazing professor. One of the very few who actually cares about students. He asks us what type of exam format we want, whether we have outside responsibilities that may affect our learning. He is so helpful, kind, funny, humble. Love him!

This was the best geography course I took at York. Prof Das was an excellent lecturer, although slightly disorganized, and overall seemed like a genuine, decent human being. He ran the class democratically by asking students to decide on the format of the exams, and was also willing to reevaluate mine, which were clearly marked wrong by the TA

I LOVE Raju Das!!! He explains everything well and he makes a point of repeating things that will appear on exams. He really wants his students to succeed. If you are able to take a course with him - don't hesitate!!

Be aware of his tests, for his short answers he expects you to memorize the whole textbook to get a good mark on them.

Great prof! He always asks right before class if his students are experiencing any difficulties and even asks everyone what type of exam format they would prefer. Great, interesting, and easy course, highly recommended!

Repetitive!!! exams and finals are fair, but he marks very hard. Or is it the TA that marks it... Great prof. overall, very helpfull

Not a great Prof! He is nice to talk to but he is horrible when it comes to marking. His lectures were unorganized. He is very repetitive. His lectures slides are pointless. If you want to do well in his class you have to go to the lectures.

HORRIBLE! lectures are sooo boring... its a chore to even go... We are not little kids... doesnt really say anything in lecture, stands there staring at us waiting for us to participate, and when we dont he re-repeats EVERYTHING he has said... WE UNDERSTAND... its self-explanatory!! i feel bad, cuz he seems like a nice guy, but should not be a prof

he is amazing. he is enthusiastic and very helpful...oh yeah and fair. probably one of the best profs at york (trust me there are VERY VERY few)

i found prof.das to be extremly thorough and he broke things down so they could be understood. great prof!

I am convinced he has an obsession with cow poo-poo. Lectures were a little slow. I'd say an average professor, not the greatest but not the worst.

Good Prof, lectures are really clear, although his thought process couldn't be called linear on his best days. Test questions are pretty much straight from lecture, and since he repeats himself 9 or 10 times, it's pretty easy to do well.

Very nice, funny guy, however i do agree his lectures are all over the place. Always jumping from slide to slide make it very difficult to take notes. Interesting lectures, but very unorganized.. tries to get the class involved, but doesnt really work and just wastes time. Better if he was straight forward

He is a super nice professor, his lecture are very useful, if you taking his course remember attend lecture. Love this professor so much.. serious, as long as you attend lecture for sure you will at least get B on he courses !!!

Very good prof, hilarious, great sense of humour, easy marker, very interesting, deserves one of those prof awards cuz he's funny as hell and can teach well
