He's old school and has a sense of humor and some rude people in my class took advantage and were downright disrespectful. He's willing to help by all means (i.e. staying late, phone call, e-mail, out of school meet up.) If you're mature and nice it's a good class. Take notes and you're fine. He has his doctorate so he knows his stuff

He was a good ptofessor, unfortunately, we had some immature people in our class that lacked the concept of RESPECT. He is the doctor, not you! If you took notes and listened you should not have had any problems. I'd rather have a prof who tells a story now and then than one who lectures with no personality.

Needs to use the Smart Board.. Would have been helpful if he posted material on Blackboard. I was appalled that he did not use Smartboard. Would have been easier to understand material. Also he needs to show movies that r current and not from the 80's

He wasted 1/2 of the class's time talking about his personal memories completely unrelated to the class and rushed through the material at the end of the class, constantly complemented himself about his looks which was unprofessional at times. Did not know how to use the black Board, used out dated sources instead of the book. Not Recommended.

Absolutely terrible teacher. Ruins psychology for the class. Down right disrespectful and misleading. He clearly has nothing else to do with his life, because he uses up the whole 3 hrs. I advise anyone to not take this class with this professor. Just my opinion. It's not even a difficult course, he just makes it unenjoyably.

Simply put, if you plan on missing classes, do not take his course. Tests are from notes and handouts. He is very gracious in grading and truly cares about your mental wellbeing. He is old-fashioned, but get over it. Do the work and it is an easy 'A'.

As long as you take good notes and attend class this is an easy A. He grades on a curve but don't plan on learning anything extensive. He tests on his hand outs and the notes he gives. Cut him a break he goes off subject quite a bit, means very well though!

Not for psych majors! If you are taking this class because it is required and you want to coast through, fair enough. I wanted to learn something. Mea Culpa. His tangential lectures based upon an ancient textbook and his patently Freudian editorializing irked me. Ambiguous exam questions and too little content covered

best thing about this class is his grading curve. He's always late and talks in circles the whole time. Take notes because that is what he test on.

Dr. Sakasits works very hard to make his class palatable and understandable to a heterogenous assembly. Those that do not get it, don't try. Stop complaining & start listening. Pick up your book, too. Good teacher. Good class.

I have no problems with this class at all; certainly, those who have problems, just do not pay attention. Everything he says, ties in with what he teaches. I would rather have a FACETIOUS professor, than a boring one. I say, grow up, take notes, and attend every class, and you should do fine.

His knowledge on the subject is a bit outdated. Very kind, likes to joke around. However, he's consistently late to class, gets off topic very easily, and his tests can be all over the place. Psych is my main interest/major, and yet I hated the class, and dreaded going. Also makes you do an article presentation which can be nerve-wrecking.

I think this class would have been more useful to me if i had never gone. he was almost always late for class and always seems flustered. starts discussions on chapters and is easily distracted. talks way to much about himself and doesn't engage students in discussions.i don't like psy now and wouldnt take his class.

Was always late for class, talked in circles. One of the students challenged him to a fight and they went into the hallway and argued for about 15 minutes. 3 hours with this guy was unbearable because he would only talk about psych for about 10 minutes and the rest was about Notre Dame football.

What he actually taught was taught well. He is so easily distracted that he distracts himself. 70% of the class is a tangent. I finished 2 crochet projects while he was rambling. But, what he actually did teach was taught well.

This guy is the WORST! In his 3 hour class you may get 20 minutes of useful information. He constantly repeats himself and goes off on random tangents! Only good thing is that you wont need to be on time for class! He never is, usually at least a half an hour late. It is hard to take him seriously! Tests did not reflect his notes or handouts!
