CIS 335 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Uses PPTs that he didn't create or proofread so they reference invalid assignments or material not needed. 2 tests (50 MC) are from books, but PPTs don't match 100%. Review the quizzes! Gives group labs that don't lend themselves to be worked on by groups so there are fewer to grade. I did entire labs by myself while my group members got credit.

Solid prof, knows his stuff. Lectures can be dry, but this is mainly fault of material, not of prof. He breaks it up with cheesy jokes. Tests are MC and I found them to be fairly easy. Later HW assignments are challenging but fair, and he spends lots of time going over instructions and expectations.

IST341 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Reads from Powerpoint slides. Does not draw any interest from students. You're on your own with labs, which require you know stuff before its ever covered in class. Only 2 tests and labs. If your group doesn't know the lab material already, good luck reading help files since the professor just sits there and answers questions very vaguely.

CIS545 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: It's a must have Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

Teaches by slides, some slides are upside down. Notes need update so study the books. Sometimes goes off tangent to talk about interesting topics. Easy going with cheesy jokes. Assignments could be shorter (med. difficulty) and more relevant, e.g. sockets should be in networking not OS. Multiple choice exam, not evenly spread. Answers emails quick.

eventhough the class was hard, he would tell you the materials you need for a quiz or exam. he often cracks jokes to keep you focus cause the class is a snooze.....overall he is a great professor of 16 years.

This class consists of lectures and labs. The lectures are a snooze, but you only have to sit through one a week. The labs can be frustrating when dealing with Linux. The tests are pretty hard, the first half of the class deals with the operating system and the other half deals with networking. Each test is 50 M/C questions. He curves the grades

Dr. Woldering is a great professor. The class was hard, but I think that was because it was only 6 weeks. Definately knows the material inside and out. I would certainly take a class with her in the future!

Assignments were challenging, as they should be, just take notes in class and you'll be fine. Dr. Woldering explains how to write the programs, it's just up to you to apply a little elbow grease to put everything together: plus extra credit on them. Helpful and quick responses, would recommend prof.

Spends way to much time reading power point slides to the class like the students are in 3rd grade. Spends very little time going over any examples that will aid you in getting through the programming assignments. Good grief, I didn't sign up to have someone read to me, I learned to read some time ago! I cannot recommend this prof.

Good professor, knows what he is doing. Will answer any of your questions clearly and in detail. However, the class is very hard (until the curve). He doesnt use the book much, but when you get the test it seems that everything is out of it. Some homework is challenging (good thing), it doesn't take an hour to do like other CIS professors.

Even at the end of the semester i could not figure out was it He or She. Nothing exiting about teaching. Just do the assignments and you'll be ok.

His assignments are harder than the examples in the book. He doesn't give you enough hints. The terrible thing is "He will ask you to write a program with many new methods, but it is no exmaples in the book. I think that I won't take his classes again.
