If you're a decent writer, you would get A easily. She is not a hard grader as people have said. You just have to pay attention to the discussions, so you can write relevant contents in your essay, instead of random things. She also makes an extra afford to create a welcoming environment, so everyone can participate.
Very nice teacher I liked a lot. She'll give u a C for showing up and handing work in, but expect effort for anA. She gave me a good grade, but I had to rewrite a LOT. Use her office hours and she'll tell you EXACTLY how to fix your paper.
Miriam is fun!! Her workload might be a lot but if you are on top of schedule u'll do fine. Class time are usually discussions. She explains what she expects and if u meet the criterias it's an automatic A. If u attend all class and turn in work on time she garantees u at least a C or Pass. Definitely recommended.
It is not impossible to earn an A in Miriam's class. She's doesn't let lazy freshman that still belong in high school get away with bad papers, being late, or texting during class. Effort is needed to earn a higher grade and if you have questions, she is personable and helpful. Students get out of the class what they put into it.
Miriam is actually a nice teacher but dont believe what she said. I turned in my first draft of my essay and she put comment on my paper. She said that my paper was good and just needed a little bit of touching. However, I got C on my paper. SHE ALWAYS SAY "GOOD, EXCELLENT" Dont believe this, it means you will get C!! Do not take her class!!
