ACCT 3300 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: A

If you want to learn the material, he isn't the prof for you. Really difficult, confusing, and his explanations won't help. However, if you're looking to up your GPA, go to class, participate and make sure he knows your name. You won't learn a thing, but you'll get an A if you show up and try.

ACCT3300 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

Lectures are confusing and unhelpful. He refuses to answer questions during office hours. If you want to get an A, go to class and make sure he knows your name. Ask questions about the homework and seem interested. The only grade is the final and its really difficult, but he knows that. As long as he knows your name, you'll get an A.

AMIS 3300 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

He is not a doubt the worst prof I have ever had in my past 4 years here. Materials are impossible to understand, not related to real cost accounting whatsoever, does not take any question during office hour, also he is definitely not a lenient greader considering how horrible of a teacher he is. Avoid him like the plague.

Do the homework. Ask questions in class. Need to work hard to understand material, but if you ask him questions during class he will clarify things pretty well.

Give Prof. Schroeder a chance. Yes, the material is extremely difficult. However, if you attend class and make your best effort to comprehend what is communicated in class, you will receive a positive grade. Accept that much of the mechanics behind the accounting concepts will be over your head. Understanding the broad concepts is more important.

Worst teacher I've had in my life. Learned nothing pertaining to cost accounting. Gives out mostly A's-B's because he has to curve everything because no one does well on the one exam in the class. Pointless and aggravating.

seriously, he got to be the worst professor ever. Don't buy the book, it's worthless and stupid, you will never use that stuff in real life. You get automatic passing grade for just signing up for class. You can get a descent grade if you ask questions about nonsense he teaches, so take him if you don't want to actually spend time studying.

Schroeder is a great teacher. He is not a Professor that holds your hand and shows you how to work the problems step by step. Instead, Schroeder gives you lead and encourages his students to try and work through the problems on their own. To him, this is the best approach in comprehending the material presented in class.

He is a super smart guy. Course materials are really tough, but you will learn a lot about accounting in his class. He will give you a decent grade if you participate in class.

If you aren't that great in accounting, then you might want to take him just for the automatic B. He teaches mainly statistics and linear algebra. If you show up, put forth some effort, then you'll get at least a B. If you regularly participate, then you'll get an A. He knows his final is impossible so it doesn't really count toward your grade.

Super smart guy. He can incredibly connect Accounting and Linear Algebra. Grading is based on half attendance half final. Try to work hard and participate.

Extremely challenging subject matter, but Professor Schroeder is very realistic with his expectations. He understands that this is "PhD" material, and it's okay if you fail everything. You'll get a respectable grade in the end. Incredibly smart guy.

Too smart for his own good. He comes across very pompous, and doesn't do a good job teaching the material to students. Ask questions in class (don't try to go to his office) and try to participate as much as possible. I was worried all quarter about my grade because I never had a grasp on the material but ended up with a B.

Turn in homework yet receive no feedback. He refuses to meet outside the class and stated no tutor for course however other teacher had one. When studying have to rely on notes and can do problems yet if you didn't take notes in class, then you can't answer them. Very hard. Avoid. Only test is final & refuses to give direction as to what to study.

He's extremely arrogant, refuses to help you at all, and flies through material. He (ironically) enjoys ranting about how stupid Fisher Faculty is, so be prepared. Avoid at all costs- you will leave class in a horrible mood each day. Most egocentric professor I've ever encountered.

Best prof&class in the department. I took 525 in spring and learned twice as much as in all my other classes. If you participate in class and do the homework the final is a piece of cake! Also, as a non-native English speaking person I can say that the book is really easy to understand. If you really want to learn sth about ACCT take this class!

I got an A from the course. The textbook is very diffcult to read so you will have to reread it multiple times. Teacher doesn't check HW even though it is suppsoedly part of the grade. Just talk in class.
