ENG208
I like Kasey as a person but honestly not being an English major ENG 208 was over my head. I felt expectations were to high and although poetry is supposed to be subjective, Kasey can get set in his ways. There is no writing poetry, all reading, and unless your into that, would recommend NOT taking this course.
WR242
If you like poetry I think Kasey would be a great fit. I took WR242 with him as a filler and had some fun with it. I like to write but am not that into poetry, but it was still a good class to expand my abilities. So, if you are looking to take poetry classed I'd recommend him, or even if you're just taking one as a filler.

Kasey is a helpful professor whos classes are entertaining and informative. I reccomend him to anyone taking writing classes at SOU.
WRIT292
Kasey is the moon beneath my television. He is the only hat I've ever liked. Sometimes I buy pasta from a taco truck then I think "Oh wait. Kasey is awesome." Also he is the sexiest cowboy who ever placed one foot carefully in the Snake River.

This professor is an elitist who thinks he is always right and is offended by other diverse opinions. I took an online poetry class and found it to be disjointed we changed the format half way through, and most of the students didn't participate until the last week yet got a better grade then me. This guy is full of it.

I took Kasey for WR242, WR341, WR441... he is absolutely great. I am much more involved in my writing than I was before. I am only sad that it is over :(.
CW
Kasey is a lot of fun. He's one of those dorky teachers you just love listening to because he's so passionate about what he does. I got into an advanced CW class on accident and have been loving it because Kasey makes it worthwhile.

His focus is on poetry and Shakespeare, so don't take his class unless you're interested in that.
