Dr. Mahoney is a very fair and helpful prof! She responds to her emails almost immediately and really does a great job presenting the material! Most homework is on Connect which in my opinion, was a huge pain!

I really liked her style of teaching which is by doing example problems in class. I also liked the tests format which were similar to the in class examples. Go to every class you get attendance points. cons; cummulative final was tough unlike the tests. Also there are 5 test so if you are not a good test taker then take that into consideration

Easiest accounting class you'll ever take! This is a conceptual class with minimal math besides addition and subtraction. Show up to class, pay attention, STUDY, and you'll get an A.

Horrible professor. No feedback at all. Does not know what is going on with students, assistant grades all the assignments. Stay away.

Awesome professor, but is very no-nonsense and down-to-business, so stay on top of your homework or you'll be left in the dust. Luckily, her exams offer NO surprises--she stresses exactly what she's going to test you on constantly in class. If you're studious and attend EVERY lecture, you'll do well and learn a lot.

Very helpful. Enjoy the class more than I thought I would. A lot of info covered in each class, glad I didn't miss one! I would definitely take Dr. Mahoney again.

Good teacher, although it can be a slow going at first, and EXTREMELY frustrating...the first exam i got a 67%, however on the next two i got 93%'s, it is all on how well you prepare before the exams and on how much you attend class...everything that is in the homework and on the exams are gone over multiple times during class sessions.

Overall I would say she is a good professor. Her tests are easy if you know what you're doing. Make sure to do the homework and go to class! Everything on the tests are explained in class.

Good professor doesn't explain things well the first time so ask her questions and to clarify things often. All homework comes from the textbook.

shes kind of intense i guess you could say. she yells when she speaks but yet she's still friendly. she's picky about grading but not unfair. overall it was hard but i dont regret taking her

Professor Mahoney is a great teacher. She is very clear in what she expects and is very down to earth. She does not give extra credit but her class consists of 3 exams and many projects which total the same amount as the 3 exams. Very nice lady. Definitely Recommend!!!

She is very helpful, and is always willing to work with you anytime you need. She has homework every week, but its almost exactly the same on the exams...Offers extra which is always nice

The class was great. The extra handout helped with grasping the material. They seem like busy work but are very helpful.

She is a great teacher I really learned a lot from her class. She goes over some material fast but she also gives lots of examples in class. Read the book and actually do the homework and the tests will be easy for you. The class was a lot of hard work but getting an A is very possible in this class.

She is very understanding. One bad thing is that the grad student grades the assignment and she's not consistent. Do all her assignments carefully as you loose lots of points. Study her chapter notes for the exam and you'll be fine. Easy 'A'if you also read the book. The most points I lost was on the assignments, due to negligence on my part.
