Multiple people were failing this class due to not doing homework or studying and yes, she got mad about it, which is to be expected. She explains stuff pretty well and seems more than willing to help. You can do well in her class. Here's the catch- you have to go to class and do your homework! Holy crap what a concept!

I think the reason she keeps getting low ratings is because freshman cant handle a teacher that actually makes them go to class and do homework. that being said, I'm 22 years old, and she's probably one of the best teacher's i've ever had. I failed music theory at a different college a long time ago, but she made it so easy for me, i liked it.

She is an awesome teacher. She is very helpful. She may seem harsh at times, but thats what it takes sometimes. She knows what she is doing.. just make sure you practice and act like you know what you're doing.

She tried to get us all involved in theory, but she expected us to all act like the one student in the class whom never seemed to leave the theory lab. Some of us do not have the free time that specific student possesed. She only helped the people who had everything completed, but if one does not even know what to start b/c she didnt teach.

She knows what she is talking about, but she has no sympathy for her students. She almost expects students to know the material perfectly before she teaches it. She also gives tons of homework that isnt from the book. Be ready to be focused only on her class if you want to pass with a decent grade

shes a music nazi. she doesnt make her test questions clear and then marks them wrong when the whole class got the same question wrong. she'll explain things after the test when its too late.

Great teaher, nice lady...HORRIBLE CLASS!!! Way too much homework and way too strict in her attendance and grading!!!!! So... don't take her unless you're a loser who is going to go to clss everyday.

very helpful, and lots of homework, but she is the best music theory teacher in UCO, if u are not music major, tough.
