This lady is fantastic. She makes a 6-9pm class as enjoyable as it can be. When you have to take CM331, DO IT WITH HER!! Assignments are clear and as long as your thorough, you'll get an A. Attendance isn't mandatory but since it's once a week it's hard to miss. Assignments every other week, not long.

Professor Hall is the best woman alive! She is so funny and intelligent. She's always approachable and helpful. Take CM 331 with Hall if you can because it will change your experience in COM. She is not an easy grader but if you know how to write well, which any COM student should, you will get a good grade.

I was not looking forward to taking this class at all, but Prof. Hall actually made it fun, even at 9 a.m on a Friday. She is hilarious, and so sweet. She is a fair grader, and you can tell this thoroughly examines your work because she provides helpful and insightful feedback. Probably, the best professor I have had in COM.

Professor Hall is possibly my favorite professor at BU. She is adorable and always in a good mood; you could tell she loves what she does. Its a long class but it goes by very fast since she gives group activities and short projects. I learned so much about such a wide range of things- from print advertising to internet newsletters!

I personally thought the grading was difficult because I am an average writer. However, I would strongly recommend taking this class with her! She is enthusiastic, funny, and really cares for her student. Her husband is John so don't get confused between them ( :

Take this class with Hall. She is enthusiastic and bubbly and makes the three hours fly by. She lets you know exactly what she expects on assignments and is helpful if you contact her with questions. One of the best profs I've had in the mass comm classes.

She's hilarious, even at 9am in the morning on Fridays. She made class enjoyable and is very fair. She has a very systematic way of grading and she gives you all the readings so you don't have to buy any books.

Mercifully, Hall doesn't make her class a series of useless assignments, but makes them relevant to real-life communications. Beyond that, she gives useful advice and corrections that make each assignment writing-sample worthy. She gives clear, general pointers for each covered type of writing and encourages you to share your best work.

I LOVE PROFESSOR HALL!!!!! Jesus Christ, this woman is amazing. She is down-to-earth, intelligent, and makes it worth getting up at 9 in the morning on a Friday. She inspires creativity and diligence in all of her assignments. She is my FAVORITE professor by FAR! GO PROFESSOR HALL!!!!!!!!
